I went to Golden Curry Restaurant with two of my friends for dinner, and we had a great experience. It’s an authentic Indian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We tried butter chicken, Tandoori chicken, lamb curry, Onion bhaji, garlic naan, and vegetable biryani—everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The naan was soft and fresh, and the curries were rich and delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Indian food in a comfortable setting!

Inexpensive food, rhe only Indian restaurant in the area. The garkic naan did not seem home made. BYOB.

My favorite Indian restaurant since the 80s....
I hadn't been there in too long. For my boy's birthday I take the trouble to book 24 hours in advance on a Monday lunchtime.
When we arrived there, what a disappointment to see that the restaurant was closed!!! Yet on their website and the front door it is indicated that it is open?!? It's not very serious

We have been customers for over 20y and loved this restaurant. Ordered take out last night (menu B) and found that several dishes were under par, the seekh kebab was very dry and went directly to compost, the vegetables bhaji was very mushy and sad we ate only 50% and the lamb was very average. We will give them one last try, yesterday was a Monday during the Christmas holidays maybe we hit a junior cook or just a bad night, paid over $80 for two so we expect better.

Have the owners changed? Yesterday we ordered several dishes that we have loved at this restaurant for years and everything was different, more crude, as if the recipes had completely changed. I'm worried. It was my favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal.

Very good and tasty foods ?. The service is very nice. The foods are very spicy. Restaurant is recommended ?

Okay. It's small. It's dark. It’s not always full (we wonder why!).
But it is, by far, the best butter chicken (I'm drooling), with real tasty tandoori chicken, a complex sauce (not something powdered), the hot naan breads straight out of the oven, phew, the curry, spinach dish, everything, everything, everything is good!

J'ai découvert ce discret restaurant par une soirée glaciale de janvier. Il était assez tard c'etait l'un des rares restaurant du coin qui était encore ouvert. Mon amie avait fréquenté la place durant sa jeunesse et a recommandé les mêmes plats. Le riz, le pain naan et les plats étaient délicieux a un pris très raisonnable pour le coin.
