Very cool space. Staff is fantastic. We had the all you can eat steak frites. The pepper sauce was really good. The steak was good and the fries were really good too.
Will definitely return.

Keyword: All-you-can-eat sirloin steak and fries, $44 per person. It's a good value, but not exceptional.

How to Play: The first plate is a set meal: bread, salad, steak, and fries. You must finish it all. From the second plate onwards, you can order just the steak without the fries. You have a two-hour limit, until you stop.

The sirloin was decent, but unevenly distributed. Some pieces had a lot of tendons, so it all depends on your luck. Cooking was on point or sometimes 1 point above cooking asked.

My bestie and I had a most enjoyable experience. We came for dessert and a glass of champagne. Nicole, or waitress, was exceptional. The atmosphere was festive. I recommend this establishment for a chic and delicious evening!

Honestly expected more from this place.
Service was honestly a 0. We had a reservation at 8:30 and the hostess told us our table was getting cleaned and invited us to go take a seat at the bar. We took a seat and waited there for 35 minutes before I told one of the waiters that we been waiting all that time. After 10 minutes they told us to take a seat at the tall table that was unoccupied all that time. After sitting on the table we waited another 20 minutes no water no service no menu we called the waiter again and got served. Our food took another 20 minutes to get there. The music was way too loud and overall one of the worse experience I had at a restaurant in Montreal. Big 0. I’m so disappointed honestly.

The restaurant is beautiful and has an all-you-can-eat steak and fries option on Thursdays. They start you off with warm bread, butter, and a fresh salad before bringing out the steak and fries. Just a tip: if you don’t want fries with your second plate, make sure you emphasize it—otherwise, they’ll bring them again by default. The all-you-can-eat deal requires you to finish your first plate before getting another. Overall, it’s a great spot, though it can get a little loud if you’re planning to have a long conversation.

We went on a Thursday night as a group of 4. They had an all you can eat steak and frites for $44 Canadian dollars. It was totally worth it and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very fancy and the waiter was kind and responsive. Great place for steak

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this time I felt like I had to.

Maison St-Paul had been on my list for a while, especially for the Thursday “all you can eat steak and fries” special. We finally gave it a try — but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype.

We arrived at 7:30pm and placed our order. The first round of steak came out in about 4 minutes, which was surprisingly fast — but unfortunately, none of the steaks were cooked as requested. My medium rare came out well done.

Still, we gave it another shot and ordered a second round at 8:15pm… but it didn’t arrive until 8:45pm. When it finally came, the meat was tough and full of tendons. It completely killed my appetite. The group behind us also seemed unhappy with how their steaks were cooked, so it wasn’t just us.

The service was also disappointing. Our waiter only checked in three times the entire evening, which really didn’t help the situation.

I don’t mind paying — but when the quality and service are both off, it’s hard to enjoy the experience. For us, the Thursday deal simply wasn’t worth it.

After we left, I checked the reviews — and it turns out a lot of people had the same experience.

This is just our honest opinion.

We had a really bad experience.

The tables were too small, and they bring everything at once. We ordered cocktails and the all-you-can-eat steak + fries, but you HAVE to finish your plate before you’re allowed to get more fries or another piece of meat — they only bring you a full new plate.

$44 and I can’t just ask for a bit more fries or only meat? I understand the no-waste policy, but for that price, shouldn’t I be able to choose what I want more of? (The waitress said no.)

The table next to us was also complaining about this. It honestly feels like false advertising.

The meat was supposedly AAA quality, but it really wasn’t that good.

The atmosphere was loud, and the service was messy.

As for the cocktail — it was just a big ice cube with the edges touching the glass, clearly trying to copy the “high-end” style, but it was a joke at that price. I’ve been to cheaper places that do a much better job without pretending to be fancy.

The experience was not what we were expecting.

On the website they offer an AAA steack. It does not match the quality of an AAA steack, the meat was hard, chewy and had a good amount of fat. The fries were not well-cooked or cut.

The bread is 4 thin slices of baguette, we got cocktail and they came with a giant ice cube 🧊 no leaving little room for liquid for the price of $25.

As for the atmosphere, it was pretty loud, the table next to us was complaining about the false advertising and demanding to get their second meat portion that they would not get if they did not finish the full portion of fries and meat first ( this portion looks smaller than the first).

It was a fantastic evening at this restaurant. We were celebrating an anniversary and had to plan a special dinner. Wael, the owner, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He emphasized that their goal is to make our experience enjoyable and stress-free, and he certainly achieved that.

The service was impeccable. Our server, Carl, went the extra mile to ensure that our evening was memorable. He even coached us on how to sabre champagne bottles, which was a fun and impressive skill to learn.

The food was absolutely delicious. Since we were a group of nine, the chef recommended a “family-style” menu. He selected the entire selection of plates and prepared them in a standard and reasonable price. Our plates included a variety of seafood, including lobsters, scallops, octopus, shrimp, calamari, steak, and bone marrow. It was a true culinary delight.

The ambiance was also great. The music was lively and enjoyable, setting the perfect mood for our special occasion.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to Wael and the entire team for making our anniversary so memorable.

The atmosphere is great and the service is very good and professional.
The mocktails are okay and my friends were happy with the steak they had, however the burrata dish was not tasty at all : when I cut the burrata it didn’t open the way it should, which didn’t seem right and made me wonder if it was fresh, and it was presented on a toast with LOTS of onion and extremely small parts of tomato, I recommend changing this item on the menu or enhancing it.

Service was wonderful, and the food didn’t disappoint. There’s plenty of reviews about the steak but I really have to say that it was a delicious steak, the flavour really came through and it was perfectly cooked. The sides also were great. I don’t usually like lobster but they cooked the lobster to really enhance the flavour

Some of the worst quality cuts of steak in restaurants you'll find. We had to ask again and again for water just to remind the staff since they kept on forgetting, but that can be due to what we assume was first time waiters (we were served by 5 different employees during our 2 hours meal)
