The CHICKEN was very RAW. Absolutely no excuses since they cut it into strips themselves after cooking, so the inside was entirely visible to both the kitchen and servers. Could have easily prevented giving me salmonella food poisoning. They thought it would be acceptable to only comp my one meal, had to ask for the whole bill to be waved. Restaurant was dark so we only noticed halfway through our meal. Completely unacceptable, disgustingly low standards and they don't care what food they put out.

I've been to MajesThe 10+ times over the past year, and it is by far one of my favourite bars in Montreal. There is a nice variety of great food, but the grilled chicken (available for dinner only) particularly stands out. That being said, the staff at MajesThe are really what makes this place shine. They always provide exceptional service, even when they are super busy and managing large groups. And the vibes for Friday night karaoke (starting at 8pm) are always S-tier! Genuinely, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Went here during my friend's Bachelorette weekend, and we absolutely loved this spot!! Delicious bubble tea-inspired cocktails and amazing food for reasonable prices. Karaoke was also a blast!

Recommended dishes: Karaage Chicken, Chicken Katsu Curry Omurice, Salmon Fried Rice
Karaage Chicken was a HIT! Sooo good, 10/10. Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork Rice) was very flavourful and delicate, a HIT! Decent portion and affordable too. Servers were very friendly. Cocktails were a tad bit small though.

Amazing Taiwanese and fusion cuisine with big portion sizes and creative cocktails (including spiked BBT). Service was top-notch and friendly, and it's so convenient (right next to McGill and the metro), making it a top bar in Montreal. The only thing is that people may not know about it since it's underground, but don't let that deter you. From the second you're seated, it's a great experience. I loved the fried chicken, truffle fries, and juicy baos the most, but pretty much everything on the menu is a hit. I always swing by when I'm in the area.

We hosted a Women in Aerospace Canada Networking event for summer 2025 and we had a fantastic experience!
The food was amazing, the servings were generous and everyone loved the food.
Our bartender that night, Korn, and our server, Destiny, were amazing.
They went above and beyond to make our networking event, an unforgettable one!
Let's not forget that pricing was affordable and reasonable.
We highly recommend for a corporate event or just a causal night out.

The photo doesn't really do it justice. Great value for the quality of food. I suggest the omurice chicken Katsu curry or the pork belly bun.
Very filling and the price would be 5-8$ more at other restaurants, especially in the plateau area. It's in the basement but it has a cozy vibe, and I went on a Saturday and they had a free jazz band.
I tasted the lychee spritz was good also, it's good for non alcoholic drinkers as well.
Younger crowd, great place for either a date or chill vibes with friends.
Also inexpensive Japanese whisky flights. Great value overall and decently large menu.
The truffle fries were yummy.

Food is ok, really good bao buns.
Service is very nice.
Place is in a basement, kinda dark, stools are uncomfortable no backrest. Prices are very good
A Really nice discovery, We weren't sure we were in the right place at first. We followed the signs after some stair behind a strange wooden door to find this amazing restaurant. The food was good, the service was quick and the ambiance was cozy. I had the chicken katsu curry omurice it was good, the only downside was that the curry was a bit to liquid and the chunk of potatoes where realy huge. My girlfriend took the chicken karaage salad bowl it was a bit spicy but not to much and we split an sides of 4 takoyaki.

Yummy yummy rice bowls!
Cool little sort-of speakeasy downtown. You go in through the restaurant, but head downstairs.
Nice dark, cozy ambiance.
Very friendly staff.
The food was delicious. The baos, skewers, takoyaki, all good. It was unfortunate that some of the menu items were missing, but no big deal.
5@7 specials on drinks.
Mostly cocktails but a few beers too.
Fun place for a date!
