You guys have to understand how hard these ladies work in a small kitchen with charcoals and keep oiling and looking over the meat

I recently visited Montreal and followed recommendations from friends who insisted I try this spot, especially for the BBQ chicken and fried plantains. Let me tell you—absolutely incredible. The flavors were rich, mouthwatering, and unforgettable. I honestly couldn’t believe how good it was.

Yes, the wait was a bit long because they had a steady flow of customers, but it was well worth it. This is the kind of food you don’t just find anywhere.

Even though I’ve already left Montreal, this meal is still on my mind. I’ll definitely be coming back when I return, and I’ll be spreading the word to others too.

A special shoutout to the amazing woman who cooks the food—Mam. She’s warm, kind, and clearly beloved by everyone who walks through the door.
