I am a regular. Last two times i ordered the same exact simple thing that i always order ( 2 fried eggs) and both times i had to wait over 40 mins to get them and then only after I inquire about my order and the waiter goes to follow up that it gets done. And meanwhile other people come much later than me and get their orders before. Something in the way orders are taken and made needs to be checked

The food was not tasty. My avocado toast looked like one of those 'expectation vs. reality' memes. When we informed the waiter about this, he started behaving very rudely. He literally got mad at us, took our plates, and threw them in the sink. After that, he bad-mouthed us with the barista. It was the worst start to the day imaginable.

The food was absolutely awful—overly peppered and ridiculously overpriced. Even the coffee and tea we ordered were undrinkable. To make matters worse, my food and water were served in a broken glass.
But the worst part was the service. When the waiter approached us during our meal, we mentioned that the food, especially the avocado toast, was overly peppered and unpleasant. Instead of apologizing, he rudely blamed us for ordering it in the first place. His attitude was shocking—he offered no apology and was outright disrespectful.
To top it off, we saw him talking about us to a colleague, which was incredibly unprofessional and humiliating. This was an appalling experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Very Arrogant and rude staff.!!!! As soon as we enter, the waiter who greeted us did not let us sit unless we agree to a tip of 18% saying that you are group of more than 8 people and can’t serve until we agree for an 18% tip. Since it was a snowy day and a public holiday, we didn’t have other choice but to agree to his arrogant demand. No matter how good the food is, demanding the tip as soon as you enter is not what the Mamans stand for. I do tip a lot everywhere not just 18% but much more than that. But demanding it as soon as you enter is not good and against all the standards. I am going to pursue other legal options for this rude and arrogant attitude. Our bill without tip was by the way 300$. The person who greeted us thought we are probably came just to waster his time due to our middle eastern look. My advice to him is that not all people from Middle East who live in Canada are refugees. There are rich business people who moved from Middle East to Canada. So treat with respect.
Had the French Toast with mascarpone, sensational. Service was great, the vibe is great, took some cookies home with us, they were fantastic.

I was hyped after reading all the comments. Maybe i am not fancy enough for this type of food. Bacon was perfectly crispy but just like the eggs, it tasted like burnt butter.. Oh and i had to go to the depanneur to buy my own coffee cream because they only have milk... 😒 so overall i paid 38$ to eat 4 strips of bacon and trash the rest of my plate. But like i said, it's probably just me not being fancy enough.
