Self-checkout 2025: interesting concept. Liked my blueberry tart and my friend's almond chocolatine.
Takeout 2020: Pleasant service, good selection of delicious pastries
Dine in 2023: they have a seating area upstairs I never noticed before that's actually cute. Really should advertise it more. Had the quiche lorraine and the blue cheese walnut baguette which were delicious with a chai latte. My friend's tuna quiche wasn't the best though.

I’ve been to other Mamie Clafoutis locations, but this one stands out for its cool concept and design. The pastries are just as good as elsewhere—but the kouign-amann here? Wow. Easily the best bite of pastry I’ve ever had.
Rich, buttery, with a crispy exterior and pillowy laminated layers, with roasted candied hazelnuts added in that took it completely over the top. Absolute must-try.

Le mamie clafoutis sur fleury est très bon et le personnel très gentil
Terrible renovation. If you ever wondered what getting pastries at a pink hospital would feel like, look no further. The place no longer has an identity and you no longer interact with humans. Pick your own croissant, warm up your own croissant, but fear not, the machine will request for a tip. The oven is no longer in sight… I could go on and on. If you ever went there for the warmth and the vibe, don’t go back.
Went there today with my mom she picked a croissant and we asked if they could warm it up. After they did, my mom changed her mind and wanted a different one (we hadn’t paid yet). The girl helping us was super sweet and willing to make the switch, but she asked another staff member (maybe someone in charge?) and she said no.
What really bothered me was that she started speaking in French assuming I couldn’t understand !!! not cool. Just because someone doesn’t look like they speak French doesn’t mean they don’t! unprofessional attitude from her.
Thank you though to the lovely girl who was helping us at the start I hope you don’t have to share your tips with her 😅
The croissants were good!

Unique pastries, custards and baked goods are a hallmark of this restaurant! The self-serve concept could definitely feel a bit impersonal, however the staff are very friendly and always happy to help with your order. You can warm up your breads on-site as well - the breads are baked fresh. The espresso drinks aren't bad either. Worth stopping by to try if you're in the area!

The Bread is always great, this is not the problem. It is not the same place since the renovation. No panache, no atmosphere, cramped tables with products being sold on them as you drink your coffee, plus my bread wasn't sliced properly and was all broken. The love is gone!
Kind of a failed concept... I miss the old shop.

Never disappointed of their pistachio ginger pie, ficelle blue, canelé, mamie kouign, these are my fave for the longest time. Two steps away from Sherbrooke metro, super convenient when i need something quick in the morning or dessert for dinner.
Edited in 2025: what have you done to your charming and cozy place? New concept of serve-yourself-depanneur-vibe is just cold and unwelcoming, definitely not my kind of patisserie, adios mami
Everything is self serve .
O Mon Dieu! What did they do to this place?
I go to the Van Horne location now. Seeing what they have done to this place is depressing.
It’s strange that them seemed to spend a lot of time transforming the place from a comfortable local bakery to an impersonal, cold and corporate look. It might be influenced by nostalgia but I feel that the food has suffered from it as well.

Today I received a service that made me not want to return to this branch again. You will forgive me for the length of the review: I hope, however, that it will prevent such an experience from happening again.
I worked a lot in customer service and it was almost a dozen times, in the last few weeks, that I paid exactly double the price for an item whose price displayed was inaccurate, noticing that it cost me more , but saying nothing, especially because I am a regular customer and I told myself that it was going to be rectified. In short, I advise you to check the price of your items, because the employees generally will not do this for you.
When I dared to name and explain the price accuracy policy in the aforementioned context (after having paid more than $20 too much for this product during the last few weeks) in front of 3 members of the team, 2 of They went to discuss it separately while checking the price, only to come back to me with the decision to charge me the lowest displayed price, even though the item was less than $10.
Not only did I tell them which policy applied in the context, which made price verification unnecessary, having been admitted at checkout that it was the wrong price, but I also had to repeat myself in order to enforce the policy that employees are supposed to respect in an honest and courteous manner. However, they insisted that I buy something else even though I mentioned that I was going to compensate with my tip next time anyway and I was the only one to say goodbye and have a good day in the context , as if the fact of having insisted on enforcing this policy once after having paid twice the price several times for said item constituted some insult. At the risk of repeating myself, I was a regular who purchased much more than this product almost daily, while generally leaving a 15% tip at the register for a 90% self-serve experience.
I think I won't go back, hoping that it will then be judged preferable by your team to enforce the law and the basic rules of customer service instead of succeeding, by consensus, in making a sale ( illegal) of less than $10 to one of your regulars.
P.S. Even if it means selling the idea of a self-service experience, letting customers help themselves while showing that they can approach you if necessary would be preferable, instead of you systematically greeting them and asking them if they have need help or follow them. The advantage of self-service, beyond speed (which also declines when you are spoken to every 10 seconds), is that you have your space, mental, among other things, to do your things and that we don't feel obliged to leave a tip because we get talked to so much.
