The food wad good, but the servers there don t speak frensh nor english and couldn t explain the menu, it s more for the latinos, as a foreigner i felt weird and lone.
And the prices are high.
This is a super market with a section for a restaurant, they have many Latin American dishes from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela and Colombia. The prices are a bit steep, I find for a very informal place, they charge you 20 cents for a paper bag, even though I spend over a 100 dollars worth of food, I bought a plate to eat there and there is no tortilla that comes with their dishes, even though they are Latin American dishes, if you order tortilla, the Mexican style,...
I come here whenever I'm feeling nostalgic. Or pregnant. Or sick. ? Basically, whenever I want to feel my childhood again. Great food, great selection of products! I especially love the caldo de costilla combo with an arepa and a juice (lulo). My kids like the baked plantain with a chicharrón.
