Just a block from the popular Jean-Talon Market, Marché Hưng Phát is a Vietnamese grocery that also serves bánh mì sandwiches for only $7 CAD—easily one of the best food deals I found in Montreal. For $2 CAD more, you can add extra meat, which I highly recommend.

I love this place for its convenience and the fact that they are truly delicious banh mi’s. The only downfall is one employee who really does not put any love in making the sandwiches and most times skimps out on the ingredients, the rest of the team are friendly and clearly put care into making a good banh mi but it’s really a shame that I leave disappointed whenever I get my sandwich made by what seems to be one of the managers… for the most part I love this place but...
