L'accueil était problématique. Même si nous avions réservé une table elle n'était pas disponible à notre arrivée. On a dû attendre 45 minutes... étrangement, plusieurs tables étaient libres mais malgré tout, nous étions plusieurs personnes à attendre à l'entrée... Sinon le serveur était super sympathique. Nous l'avons beaucoup aimé. Le lieu est magnifique.

While the food and ambiance were enjoyable, the overall experience was marred by disappointing service. Despite our high expectations, we waited 45 minutes to ORDER our first cocktail, our distracted waiter poured water into our martinis and forgot two main course dishes. Then, he proceeded to offer us room service even though we were not guests of the hotel. While they did comp our deserts, we received no acknowledgment of the two birthdays we were celebrating, despite prior notification and confirmation by the hostess. While the food and vibe were good, the service did not reflect the hype and the price point.

Had the best breakfast ? of my life! This is worth every penny! The pancake ? with blueberries are to die for. The eggs, potatoes.... So perfect! We were 6 and everyone was impressed. Chef Marcus for the win.

Probably one of the worst experiences ive ever had to deal with. Frances ( the manager at the lounge) is a TERRIBLE hospitality worker. Very condescending, messed up the entire reservation. Only got served for food 1 and 15 minutes later. During that hour and fifteen minutes, I asked 2 waiters, a somelier and a bus boy to get me the waiter of the table and a manager. The manager walked away after I only said 4 out of 6 drinks and I went back to him. He was very rude. I was being told things such as “ it’s not a wedding, it’s a birthday”. To have a “ positive attitude” after I get terrible service, terrible attitudes and egotistical men. They should have 0 egos, as they are WORKERS at Marcus and I’m a CUSTOMER of Marcus. I PAY, you get PAID. It should be ME with the ego. Although I’m a very calm and generous person, I still paid for the hotel, dinner and lounge bar, after Marcus did everything to mess it up. I have NEVER dealt with such terrible service in my ENTIRE life, and I made sure that they knew it. If you ever have a chance to work with Frances, I would suggest to go to another manager. He is rude, he has a bad tone, speaks over you, does not respect woman at all ( because of the way he spoke over me constantly), just overall a terrible attitude. Each time my party planner was on the phone with him he was huffing and puffing, he was bored by the conversation. Although it should’ve been me that’s mad, since I’ve called 8 TIMES for the SAME THING and they keep messing up, they’re pissed? There was also another manager, he was short, completely rude. Walked away from me, I’m telling him to get me a waiter and he goes and talks to someone else and starts laughing and giggling. I also got help from David, he is a nice gentleman. He didn’t do much though. He was just mansplaining everything. “ calm down, be positive, have fun tonight” as if they didn’t mess everything up. Whatever, he tried his best. He talked to me with respect. Which Frances lacked. As I’m talking to Frances, other people were coming to him to complain. So I just let my party planner deal with it. Anyways, don’t do your birthday here because they only value clients who spend millions of dollars apparently. That’s what Frances told my party planner! I will do everything in my power to make sure people know, how terrible Frances is. I wish I was joking. This man is lost. He’s a joke. Pathetic.I would suggest for all hotel Services ask for Mammoune, Neil and there’s another guy, I just can’t remember.By the way, I’m only 20 years old. You know it’s bad bad when a 20 year old leaves a review…. Just saying….

I didn't appreciate the trick at the end to charge 12$ on the bill for water we drank. I clearly asked to waitress flat water (from sink). First time I see this European-inspired scam in Quebec.

In overall Marcus is a good 4* restaurant. Food and wine were very good but pricey in relation to the served portions (portion of spaghettis was tiny). The restaurant was very noisy with children crying and shouting around!! The tables are not nice, with no table cloth (not acceptable for an upscaled restaurant). This place looks like the breakfast restaurant of an 4-* hotel. No break and butter are served like in an upscaled restaurant. The bill is priced like in a 5* restaurant but the environment and service do correspond at most to 3-4*.

Our waiter was outsanding, going above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, even bringing a complimentary celebratory macaron without being told/asked. Food was good, however, portions small for price. Ambience and aesthetic were excellent.

Malheureusement très déçu de notre expérience brunch dimanche le 14 avril. J'ai réservé le 16 mars l'expérience brunch cabane à sucre qui était du 15 mars au 15 avril. Rendu assise à la table et ne voyant pas ce qui était dans l'expérience, j'ai demandé à la serveuse comment avoir accès à notre expérience et au menu spécial inclu dans la réservation. Nous nous sommes faite répondre que c'était uniquement 2 semaines en mars et que même si leur Instagram et la réservation open table spécifiait l'expérience, c'était fini depuis longtemps et que c'était une « erreur de l'équipe marketing » Je déplore le manque de professionnalisme du restaurant et la fausse publicité. Un simple courriel ou un appel nous avisant à l'avance que ce que nous avions réserver n'était plus disponible et savoir si nous voudrions quand même garder notre réservation est la moindre des choses ou offrir une quelqu'onque compensation après que nous les avons aviser que nous avions réserver spécifiquement pour l'événement et le menu spécial. Des erreurs peuvent arrivé évidement, mais la gestions de celle-ci doit être bien faite. Nous avons décidé de rester comme notre réservation était à 11h et que rendu la partout ailleurs ça aurait été des heures d'attente, mais il reste que notre choix aurait été different avoir su d'avance et que rendu au 14 avril nous n'étions assurément pas les seules à qui c'était arrivé. La serveuse semblait très indifférente dans ses réponses. Le reste du service était très moyen. C'était la première fois que le service n'était pas excellent. Côté nourriture par contre, c'était très bon même si ce n'était pas ce que nous comptions mangé. Je m'attendais à plus d'un restaurant et d'une hôtel avec cette réputation.

If you are looking for a refined, stylish and welcoming restaurant, Marcus is definitely the one for you! I've had the opportunity to dine at Marcus several evenings. The consistency in the high quality of the food is remarkable. The kitchen has gotten it right each and every time, no exceptions. The service has been extraordinary from Nicholas and Elizabeth - BRAVO to them both! I'm looking forward to my next visits which are regular and frequent so that I may enjoy myself and the company of my guests.

Disappointed because we weren't accommodated to sit in an area we asked for, because our table was in the way and under a vent. We were only 2 and we couldn't be moved even though we asked and even though the restaurant wasn't full, and we were told guests from the hotel had priority. Overall not a great service experience which is not what we're used to at Marcus.

Worst waiters. Worst customer service. Very rude and entitled. They lack accountability when making errors for the orders. Mind you I was on a bachelorette. Embarsssing that they’re above a 5 start hotel (four seasons). Manager was also embarrassing and laughing about our concerns with the waiter. 10/10 worst service I’ve ever experienced. Avoid.

They charged for tap water 7-9$ for each glass, ridiculous!!! Food was okay, nothing special. Beware of the parking in the building I paid 35$ for an hour.
