I absolutely loved my experience at Masala tonight! Showed up with friends and the owner was very helpful and accommodating with us. The butter chicken was probably some of the best I've ever had. So glad I got to try this place

The owner was extremely friendly to me and my friends. He gave us some snacks on the house, then made us some delicious food. Its a real shame that they're going out of business. I hope the land lord of that street gets hit by a car

We went there with my wife and the experience was simply amazing. The food, the owner and the overall vibe of the place was just great. I strongly recommend it.

I liked the fact the owner let us bring our own beer. The food is ok, but I have tried much butter indian food elsewhere. Butter chicken is normally with a lot of sauce and a redish color. The butter chicken here is dry and yellowish.

The food was good, portion is really generous, and the owner is kind.

Owner is very friendly and always get me my pickup food in a timely manner. The food is really good too. I just wish there were more vegetarian options :) Just friendly constructive criticism :)

I went today at noon to get a butter chicken. That one in particular, I had not eaten one for years. Still the same taste. Thank you Ilyas. Best butter chicken in Montreal to my point of view.

Very expensive with little quantity. I have ordered lamb curry for $18 its not even enough for one person. and some of the lamb is not cooked properly and there is need of improvement in spices and taste.

My husband got me a cooking class for Christmas and it was so much fun! Ilyas is super warm and friendly and is an excellent teacher. The food was the best Indian food I’ve had in Montreal. Cannot recommend enough

Quaint and nice little restaurant on Centre street, portions are ideal, menu is simple, food is good and staff is friendly. The owner also teaches cooking classes in the evening so you can tell there’s care in every dish

Simple ambience and decor. The staff was ok but a little bit rough. The papadam has a weird taste to them, like being fried in a fishy oil. My palak paneer was good but it was just smacked on a plate. So overall I give it a solid OK.
