Randomly went here due to my friend searching google maps on our visit to Montreal. No pictures because we were too busy chatting with the owner about sweetened vs. unsweetened matcha, Chinese tea, and the tea scene in Montreal. Owner was kind enough to give us unsweetened versions of our drinks to try when we mentioned that we like our drinks without sugar. Delicious 😋
Nestor is an artist with his matcha. Iron matcha is my favourite. His space is green and bright and a pleasure to relax. He is very kind and puts intention in all of his work.
The owner is the sweetest man ever & the matcha is amazing. What a beautiful experience I had here! The owner really knows what he’s talking about and taught me a lot I didn’t know about matcha! Would definitely recommend coming here and supporting this business!
It was a true matcha experience…the matcha was very good quality. The owner was very kind and nice, the place itself was unique and cozy (I came back for avocatcha)💚
I was really excited to try this matcha place, but when I asked the staff if they had a matcha that was a bit sweet, I felt kind of snubbed and I ended up leaving. It seemed like he knew his product well, but instead of showing a positive attitude and encouraging me to try something new, his energy shifted like I knew nothing and made me uncomfortable.
Matcha makes me cha-cha
5/5 ⭐️
Really good quality matcha. The Iron Matcha was delicious
I had the Avocado-matcha smoothie (only served cold) that was amazing! It was served with dates and cranberries. The place is super cute and the owner is nice and friendly. Price is insanely respectable.
Students beware, you can’t bring ur laptop here or study.
Definitely recommend and would go back!
I was visiting Montreal and decided to pass by. The place looks good but the customer service it is not too friendly. I did not know they don’t use plastic glasses and when I asked about it the person at the front desk got mad at me making me feel like a bad and stupid person because I just made the question. The drink was fine but I prefer a place where I feel welcomed or at least they explain their concept better.
Authentic matcha with a creative twist. Pumpkin seed milk was delicious, and we liked that there were many good options to choose from.

Their iron matcha gave me chronic constipation.
Very cute place, the owner is super friendly, tentative and considerate. He welcomed us with such warmth. The drink size is huge for the price. Totally worth it, the experience was great
This place is owner run and operated. He is super passionate about what he does. We did the matcha tasting but also felt like we got a whole education with it. I came in here because my fiance drinks matcha. I have also now been converted. Lol
Super cool experience
My boyfriend and I were here in Montreal for a dragon boat race two weeks ago. I found this place from a recommendation and was determined to try out the matcha drinks! We got the iron matcha and hojicha choco and they both did not disappoint the slightest bit. The decorations were lovely and cozy (he also has beautiful paintings). Nestor was so kind and nice and friendly and you could tell how passionate he was in curating the best and most healthy drinks for his customers, getting the best ingredients from all over the world. During our chit chat he even offered some delightful snacks (best date with cashew ive ever had!!) and mini drinks of cermonial matcha and jasmine tea (also the most fragrant and delicious jasmine tea ive had). It was a great experience and we promise to come back if we ever visited Montreal again. Or let us know if you ever open a place in Vancouver haha!
