Special Valentine's Day evening, a failure.
The experience started off badly when we politely called to say we were 15 minutes late and were told that we would only have 1h30 left for dinner... before waiting 15 minutes standing to be seated when we arrived.
Overwhelmed staff, menu items served out of order between each table, including one completely forgotten to be served, and the quality very basic compared to the very expensive price. At this price, we expected impeccable service and a gourmet menu, but this was “Improved Pub” level.
Nothing refined in taste, no sophisticated presentation.
A doggy bag for the forgotten dish and a shot to make up for it... thanks to the waiter, a gesture appreciated but an apology unfortunately arrived at the same time as a bill that was far too high for this failed experience..

When getting seated we requested to change tables because they put us right next to the entrance where it was freezing cold from the door, and the host said no , but then the couple after us asked and they were allowed to choose where they wanted to sit. Food was good but we were served 3 courses before even getting our drinks.

Such a nice atmosphere with 90s music! The food was so good! We took the tasting menu which is really worth it 🥳Perfect evening as a couple. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was so friendly. Thanks for everything!

We went here for our annual holiday get-together and found out if the recent influencer hype is justified.
It's important to note we did not try the new "menu experience" because they lacked the items we wanted. So we picked our own.
Firstly, we were greeted with, quite honestly, subpar service for a place with a menu at those prices.
We realize the place is called "mauvais Garçons" , but the service was fitting of that. Apparently, "May I take your order?" has gone out of style and been replaced with an uninterested and lazy, "So what are we doing? What's happening for food?". But that's subjective; maybe I'm too old-fashioned or snobby 🤷♂️
Our tabletop was also loose and kept shifting by serval inches every time we rested our elbows on it.
As for the food itself, the sliders were by far the best thing we tried, and we have had better.
We also don't understand how the menu says "à partager" but each dish is an odd number (3) of items. Yet, the tables are for 2, 4, or 6 people, not triangles or nonagons. Given the elevated price for the small portions, this is a problem for us.
We ordered 3–4 plates each, a drink, and a dessert, spent $120 each (no GST/TPS that day), shared, and left hungry anyway (actually ate again elsewhere).
The dessert was also tiny and subpar in taste.
You may have seen some hype around the $65 7-course "menu experience". We suggest trying that if it includes all the dishes you want to try. But it's for a minimum of two people, so $65 becomes $130 to share one extra item (the plates will have 4 instead of 3 from what we saw in the reels). It's not as ridiculously cheap as advertised, but still slightly less overall, and maybe you won't leave hungry.
For our experience, unfortunately it did not live up to the hype and was not worth driving through Montreal's Saturday dinner-time traffic.
We apologize for the mostly negative review, we understand that our single, isolated experience may not be the norm at this particular restaurant.

This place is fabulous. I was brought here on a date and the atmosphere, and the bartenders were A1. The special attention they put in crafting the cocktails were amazing. I even ordered something off the menu. We sat at the bar and it was good vibes!!

The burrata was perfectly creamy, the Brussels sprouts crispy and flavorful, and the crème brûlée cheesecake? Absolutely divine—silky, caramelized perfection.

Food is amazing 🤩
Mixed experience.
The +:
-The food overall is pretty good.
-We don't rush you and you have time to eat, which is unfortunately not the case with all the restaurants in town
-The cocktails were good
THE -:
-The music was so loud that everyone was talking extremely loudly
-The principle of "tapas" in Montreal is becoming tiring. "We advise you to take several tapas to share to live the experience..." Yes except that this "experience" is always more expensive than the classic starter-main course and that the whole table may not have the same tastes ? I found that there was too much emphasis on this formula when there were combinations that worked very well to make a starter-main course formula.
It's still a nice restaurant with interesting flavors on the menu.

Everything was excellent, the service had the perfect flow, the servers were very pleasant, they had good communication (even asked us if we had any allergies) and a good vibe! The food was excellent from A to Z, we loved the menu experience, I recommend it to everyone and it will be done again!
