We love this place, the atmosphere is amazing. You feel in a real Irish pub. The staff is very friendly, the food is very good. We had family visiting from Mexico and we ended up going 3 times because they just loved everything about it. I prefer the main floor, I believe the other floors are noisier. The only “but” that I have is the Diet Coke :( it is very bad, no gas or taste at all. But it’s a good excuse to get a cider instead haha.

I go to Mckibbins a couple times a year, however I usually go to a different location. I came to this one with my partner and sat in the basement in a corner table, and near the end of my meal, I got extremely faint and passed out for about 3 minutes. My partner came to my side of the table to hold me up and he started feeling faint as well and had to rush us outside.
I'm not sure if it was some sort of gas build up or overcrowding, but I am in great health and don't usually have issues like this. Besides just the fact that no staff noticed I passed out, I won't be returning. Either they stuff too many people in or they have some sort of gas hazard. Just go to the St Laurent location for a better time

A beautiful historic pub with a fantastic vibe and a delicious bison burger (just like I remember it from 20 years earlier!) We came here for comedy on the second floor - that was so much fun! Be sure to come early to get good seats and be aware because of the age of the building to arrive early The staff were so fantastic and helpful for those in our group with reduced mobility - thank you!
