The food was nice. I had never been, but looked at the reviews and thought it would be nice. I invited from friends from out of town. It was a warm day and it was even warmer and humid inside the restaurant. I know not everyone can have an A/C. But you can still get a fan or two. Staff was there to answer question, but not a single smile for the whole night. Had to wait before anyone came to see our table. Food was very good, no doubt.
Great menu choices. Generous portions that can easily be shared. Conveniently located around the corner from Theatre St. Denis. We'll be visiting again next month.
One of the best byob restaurants in montreal. Excellent menu and delicious food. Service is as good as it gets. Highly recommended when visiting montreal.
Amazing experience. Excellent food. Lamb shank tajine with dried fruits and almonds was incredibly delicious. Food for the heart and soul. Highly recommended
It was alright; we didn't find the staff (mainly the lady) all that friendly. The food was a Moroccan fushion of sorts.

excellent menu, great food, very good service. Enjoyed the whole experience, from a very busy restaurant. they currently do a 5pm and 8pm sitting.

A high quality Mediterranean restaurant. Impeccable service, attentive, young and dynamic. The food is excellent and full of flavor. A place not to be missed. Don’t forget to book in advance, the restaurant is always full.

Whilst staying in Montreal, we asked for recommendations from the hotel we were staying at for "memorable dining experiences". Menthe et Couscous was the first place that was mentioned (My wife loves middle eastern food, so it was a no-brainer!). Wow, what an amazing experience and what a way to finish our holiday! They have a very extensive menu which could seem a little overwhelming to the uninitiated, however they have a tasting menu which allows you to sample a little bit of everything. We were definitely in the uninitiated category, so that is what we went for. To make it even more enjoyable, we opted to go with the belly dance show. From the moment the first dish arrrived, we knew we were in for an amazing experience. An excellent memorable experience at Menthe et Couscous. À must try in Montreal
You know how every vacation has that one stand-out meal? This definitely it! It’s the highlight that we left Montreal raving about; its more than a meal, it’s an experience. The restaurant, in and of itself, is aesthetically stunning. The food, without exaggeration, is cooked to perfection and presented so beautifully. The portions are large. However, the food is fresh and healthful and if you let your waiter guide you on how much to get, you won’t leave feeling stuffed. Excellent choice in montreal.

Menthe et Couscous is not an easy booking. My wife and I were determined to try this restaurant and booked online a month ahead of time from Victoria, BC. It was worth it. The menu was expensive but overall worth the price. The variety of tastes almost overloaded our senses but in a good way. Our waiter was personable and attentive just at the right times during the meal. The rest of the staff seemed to ""swarm"" our table, filling water glasses, bringing different dishes without delay and removing and replacing dishes and cutlery. 10 out of 10 for service!
