J’y suis allée quelques fois dans le passé et mon souvenir était bien. J’y suis retournée hier soir et supposément qu’ils nous apporteraient que des plats sans gluten à partager. Je suis cœliaque symptomatique. A un certain moment, on a reçu un tartare de boeuf, j’ai demandé s’il y avait du gluten/friture et avec une attitude vraiment ordinaire, on a commencé par me dire que c’était sans gluten, pour finalement revenir sur sa parole, plutôt confuse, me disant que ce ne sont que des croutons que je peux retirer de l’assiette. Plutôt choquée, j’ai demandé à ce qu’on me refasse une assiette sans gluten. On me l’amène en me disant, voilà ton tartare sans goût. 😳
Surprise: malade depuis mon retour hier soir.

Beautiful atmosphere and very accommodating staff. Nice kitchen with a location where it's easy to find parking. The only problem is that the service is a little long, perhaps because the restaurant was crowded with groups. Beautiful address!

Amazing neighborhood restaurant..with strong Spanish influences/ flavours. Great place for a cocktail or shareable tapas ... the food is utterly delicious and the filtered night time vibe, at the bar, is just perfect.

First time at Mesón and it definitely landed in my top favorite tapas spots. Aside from the impeccable service, the food was just as good! We ordered the Tartar de res, Atún en crosta, Paella a la Mesón & churros - eeeeeeverything was so flavorful! Will be back :)
