The restaurant was packed when we arrived and we were lucky to have gotten a table without having to wait. I would suggest reserving a table if you do plan to visit this restaurant. Not only was the restaurant crowded, I feel like there was very little space in between the table so dining here felt a bit less intimate than I would have prefered. The food itself was great, I enjoyed the flavours but it was a little bit too salty and I wish the food would be a bit spicier. The mango sticky rice dessert was so pretty but I also feel like the sweetness was lacking a bit. The service was decent. The waitress was running around the whole night so she couldn't really refill our water or check up on us but she was still polite and respectful. She wasn't really friendly or welcoming due to the rush but she was still working really efficiently and the food was served really quickly after we ordered which was surprising considering the amount of people at the restaurant.

Top.3 Thai restaurant in Montreal. Food and services are great.
Only thing is that they don’t have AC so may not be a good option in hot summer

Amazing food! Ordered over uber eats and ordered the next day to try something else. Consistent great food! Can’t wait to go in person to try :)

Mai Thai is a tiny little Thai restaurant in the Quartier Latin with great food and many gluten free options. I had the pad thai and it was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. You may want to make a reservation if you are a large party as the restaurant really is very small.

We stopped by Mai Thai for lunch before heading to the summer events on St-Laurent and it did not disappoint! The decor is beautiful and the vibe is chill yet vibrant!

We ordered the pad see ew and the crispy pork with rice(forgot the actual name lol). Both were super flavourful and instantly brought me back to Thailand. I’ve been to Thailand many times so I know this place is the real deal! The crispy pork especially was heavenly!
Tip: ask the waiters about the spicy levels and they can adjust it to your taste!

The Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice were also great finishes to the meal. Prices are very fair for the quality, and the staff were warm and welcoming.

Next time I definitely want to come back with more friends so we can share and try everything lol 😋🇹🇭

This Thai restaurant is an absolute gem! 💎

Cozy atmosphere, fun vibes, and truly authentic. The food is made by a real Thai chef with a dedicated Thai team. I had the krapow moo krob, chicken satay, somtum Thai, and for dessert, the mango sticky rice, everything was flavorful and spot-on! Service was warm and attentive. It’s always packed, so a reservation is highly recommended. They also do takeout, which is super convenient.

As a Thai person, I come here very often!

I highly recommend this place!

Mia or Mai?
On the second floor. Small restaurant. Booking online on a Saturday evening, we ONLY had our table available for an hour. It's not enough if you have starter, main course, desserts...
Our “spicy Thai” dishes were definitely too spicy.
In January, the people at the table kept their coats and hats on because the cold drafts were intense when the outside door opened!
Expensive starters compared to main courses.
Strange but the employees confirm the possibility of bringing your own wine even if the restaurant sells it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I can honestly say that the spring rolls here is the best one in the planet. They mentioned that they made it from scratch. LOVE!!!

Vegetarian options: Anything can made vegetarian.

I’m Thai, and let me tell you, this place is even better than Thailand! The flavors are absolutely authentic, and the crispy pork is out of this world—perfectly cooked, juicy, and with that unbeatable crunch. It’s like a little slice of home but elevated to perfection. Every dish tastes like it’s made with love. If you’re looking for real Thai food that truly delivers, this is the spot! ❤️❤️❤️
