Can you guys please PLEASE change your cleaning product you use in there, it constantly smells like this strong chemical no matter what time of day, the LID of the takeout cup smells like it, and the croissant I got this morning literally TASTES like the smell in there. Once I got a cookie that was baked there and it tasted like the smell. I hadn’t gotten a baked good since and then the croissant this morning tastes like it as well. What a mistake. Never again!

Best iced coffee ever!!! I couldn’t stop saying wow. The sesame miso cookie was good but nothing special, I didn’t taste the miso. They make an amazing cardamom cortado

Best latte I’ve had in a long time – 12 oz of pure heaven made with smooth Colombian roasted beans. Each sip was a perfect balance of rich, flavorful espresso that lingered beautifully. The baristas were kind and you could tell they were working hard. The only thing I would change is the temperature inside; it was a bit warm, so I’m not sure if they have AC. However, the big windows let in plenty of sunlight, which makes the space feel bright and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!??

I love their coffee a lot! but I got a hot latte again when I ordered ‘Iced’. I usually don’t mention it because it doesn’t change that your coffee is the best.
PLEASE ask me again if you are not sure… I love the iced coffee ?

Finally I visited today after wanting to for over a year. Wow, a barista’s heaven. I was lucky to be there while the owner Simon was there. We got to talk about their cardamom cortado recipe (which is a labour of love) - super impressive btw (hello my Arabs); they found a way to have the right balance without involving a syrup nor the graininess of cardamom usually found is such drinks. A perfect specialty coffee hommage to the traditional drink in the Middle East.

That cardamom cortado was to try, but I came for a light roast cortado, which was very impressive. They roast their own beans, which usually means subpar roasted coffee, but they REALLY know what they’re doing and Simon is very thoughtful of his strategy behind their coffee bean offering. Chapeau!

What was best about the shop though, the reason this was so memorable, was actually the space itself. Super conducive to conversation with the person you’re sitting beside. Rare these days to have a tight shop with that sense of community.

The barista at Micro Espresso Café NDG was friendly and lovable. I wasn't sure what to order, so he offered me a taste of a suggested drink before I made my choice. I loved their coffee shop and will definitely return again.
