Servers are pretty attentive even if it gets busy. Food is amazing ! Although on the pricier side, it’s worth it for the location and food quality. They have $1 oysters during their happy hour, which is definitely worth it !

I want to emphasize my great appreciation for the fact that I was greeted with a beautiful Hello, without Hi. It’s good to see that all is not lost for our beautiful language. After all, we are the largest French-speaking city in North America. You have to be proud of it. Thanks to Hermihie Rocan. I will return there for that and of course also for the good food.

Came here for 5a7 dollar oysters but stayed for the fries. Very forgettable oysters that were the size of nickels. The oysters came dry without any of their brine water. The highlight was the skinny fries that were perfectly fried; crispy snap with a soft interior

Very cozy place I really enjoyed the mignon Steak (their special dish) and our server Herminie made our night more special with her exceptional service! I Definitely recommend this place.

Herminie’s service was great, she was very sweet! The food was to die for, I swear my friends and I were scrapping the plates with their fries… which were perfect by the way. Don’t hesitate and have a seat at one of their tables ? Oh and order the soup! It’s at least as good as the fries.

I really wanted to love this experience, although it ended horribly. Do not get me wrong, the food and the vibes were excellent, but the service was not up to par. When we first ordered, I advised the waiter I am severely allergic to tree nuts. We started with beef tartare and ordered our mains right away. We ended up adding a salad, once our appetizer was done, expecting it to arrive with our food. We let the waiter know we no longer wanted the salad since it was still not ready once we began eating our mains. The waiter responded with “I’ll go make it myself, it’ll take 2 minutes”. All this to say, we finally began eating our meals and salad. As I said, it was all delicious, although I suddenly couldn’t breathe. I asked the waiter immediately if there was nuts in anything, to which he responded “the salad is dressed in a walnut sauce”. Also, no where on the menu does it indicate the house salad is dressed in nut sauce, which is misleading and dangerous. To give you perspective, this is a white sauce, that does not look like it contains nuts. But the fact that he immediately knew is disappointing.I’m not sure if this waiter (tall blonde guy) is purposefully malicious or just ignorant, but that was absolutely terrifying for me. He told us not to pay and “just go”. The restaurant did not reach out to see if I was okay, nor did anyone help me. My boyfriend and I called the ambulance, and there was obvious commotion caused by the first responders, and no one did a thing. This is absolutely unacceptable. The waiters should be educated about allergies and intolerances because they are real. I don’t understand how you forget “a severe allergy”. I ended a date night in the emergency, had several Epipens injected, and am now no longer comfortable with going out to eat.

My husband and I had a fantastic date night in Montreal, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Herminie was phenomenal; she welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness. We kicked things off with some delectable, fresh oysters, followed by their tartare and steak frittes, all of which were absolutely delicious! It was a flawless evening, easily a 10/10. We'd definitely love to come back.Dietary restrictions: options for gluten aware

1st time experience. Perfectly satisfying dinner. Everything was delicious. The Canadian beef was cooked to a nice medium rare, the fries were light and crispy. Salmon tartare was very refreshing, with a lot of textures and pops of horseradish. The atmosphere was very "mignon".

Arriving without reservations, were offered a choice of table with time or the bar without time constraint. Took the seats at the bar, was entertained watching the drinks mix performance. Food was simply and delicious. Enjoyed the entire experience.

Nice decor. Excellent service, all the staff are attentive. Attentive bartender too. Very good food. We had the oysters as an appetizer. They are small, but tender and fresh. We had a cocktail and an Old Fashion which were tasty. As a starter, the roasted cauliflower and the Mac & Cheese Mignon with truffle oil were delicious!! As a meal, the beef tartars and salmon tartars were also good (but which we spiced up with a little Tabasco). The portions are generous (starter and meal). Our glasses of wine were room temperature, and would be best served slightly chilled. The French Pinot noir is beyond our expectations! We were less pleased with the other selections of red wines (a Gamay-Beaugolais, a Syrah, and a Bordeau).Going down to the bathroom, we discover the kitchen area visible to visitors. Nice to see the cooks at work preparing good meals. A beautiful French Bistro atmosphere and a very good meal, we will return.
