Most of our takeaway went in the bin. Pork and plum sauce smelled off, lamb curry full of fat, stringy fat all through it. It had been tenderised using bicarb as could tell by the texture and tasted of it. The only almost edible dish was sweetnsour chicken in batter that was hard and chewy. The steamed rice ok but I made that myself. I would give zero stars if I could
Most disgusting Food I have ever had don’t even bother going there
Online order last night for our family to celebrate our son’s first day at his new job. Received confirmation txt of our order. Called them 1/2 AFTER FOOD WAS DUE to arrive to be told that they were too busy and would not be completing our order. Could not believe it! Our table was set and we were hungry. They did not even had the decency to contact us. DISGUSTED with their attitude! THEY WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY FURTHER BUSINESS FROM US!
Ordered takeaway online. Got a call to say they had run out of bird nest & would I like fried noodles instead. I said yes. When I received it there was two prawns & no other seafood it was meant to be a seafood combination. Also felt sick thru the night. Husband also did not enjoy his food.
Good mix of Christmas and regular songs. The hosts, with nearly 10 years experience , were professional, starting on time unlike some other karaoke venues. The service and food was reasonable.
An occasional haunt of mine, I come for a bite to eat and to listen to some good karaoke. To be honest, the food has been okay for some time but with room for improvement. I went for a meal recently and was pleasantly surprised by the good food. Servings were a little more generous and higher quality. If you strike a good night as I did, the standard of karaoke was very good.
Karaoke from 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights with excellent hosts so best to make a booking. Popular venue with locals for birthdays and families. Varied menu with all typical Australian Chinese dishes available of good sized portions. Entrees are excellent and well priced. Service is sometimes slow because they are a popular take away with locals so always busy even if restaurant isn’t crowded. You can BYO wine but beer, spirits and soft drinks are well catered for in house.
I was disappointed with the food unfortunately, lacked flavour and the pineapple in our meal was very tangy. I have been here before and the food was really nice, it must of been an off night
In view of some of the negative reviews we decided to give the Ming a shot and are glad we did. We were there on a Friday night and it was quiet. The staff were friendly, service was good and the food nice but the thing that really made the visit worthwhile was the entertainment. We didn't do any Karaoke singing but there was a group of people who sang extremely well and provided some good renditions of some well known songs. We asked and were told this group is often there on a Friday night. If you want a relaxed fun night out I would give the Ming some serious consideration.
We have been customers here for at least 20 years and have noticed a steady decline in the quality of their food. But, like idiots, we decided to give them one more try. Never again. The lettuce leaves provided for lettuce cups) were floppy and about half the usual size and the filling was just not nice. The special fried rice was not special at all. The sesame prawn toasts were limp, the chicken and vegetables were yucky (the chicken looked like it had been bleached ... even the prawn crackers were stale. And it’s not cheap. Never again.

Terrible , sorry to say the least , took and hr and a half to deliver, got the Order wrong. , never again 50 $ , , we’ll u live and learn , must be new owners 3 mths ago same price and great food , now but now , crap
As good as you will get outside melb central . Try the Chilli prawns Yummy Not the cheapest but well worth the money
McDonald’s around the corner would be better if I’m brutally honest. Food is not good. Service is not good. Atmosphere is horrendous - felt like I was having my last meal on death row. Best part of the night was the fact that it’s also incredibly overpriced considering the terrible experience you get.
