Shelves lined with clay pots and jars of loose-leaf tea added an authentic touch, while the soft lighting and gentle background music created a tranquil atmosphere perfect for savoring tea.
The service was impeccable. The staff greeted me warmly and patiently guided me through their extensive tea collection, answering my questions with expertise and enthusiasm. Their genuine passion for tea was evident, and they took the time to explain the origins and nuances of different varieties, making the experience educational as well as enjoyable.
I decided to purchase 100g of Jasmine Yin Zhen, a premium white tea infused with the delicate aroma of jasmine flowers. The tea's subtle fragrance and smooth flavor were captivating, and I was impressed by the quality. The staff even offered tips on how to brew it properly to bring out its best characteristics.
Overall, my visit to Ming Tao Xuan was a sensory delight, combining a relaxing ambiance, exceptional service, and a remarkable selection of fine teas. I can’t wait to return to explore more of their offerings and perhaps expand my tea collection with one of their exquisite clay pots.

Very disappointed to see that they no longer have the tea ceremony service. The tea ceremony service is what made this place unique, now its just another tea store like every other. Unfortunately the advertisement for this place (both on Google AND on their shop windows) hasnt been updated despite it being 3 years that they no longer offer tea services. We traveled from up north and paid for parking in old Montreal only for us to realize the tea ceremony experience is no longer available (despite advertisement to the contrary), so we left. This place really used to be great, If they bring back the tea ceremony service I'll obviously change my review. But to be totally truthful, I really think this place will go out of business since it no longer offers something unique, (and many people are disappointed as you can tell by the reviews). Its really too bad because it was truly great before. Its really unfortunate.
