Discusting . Chicken hard like a rock . Sea bass was under cooked lamb shoulder full of yogurt sauce . When we told the waiter about the issues they did not care . Terrible place

Human makes mistakes, as life comes with no manual. But this one is not mistake!

Wonderfully balanced plates. Flavour is powerful but not overwhelming. Really worth the money for a nice occasion out. Bring your own wine as well which is a plus.
Certainly will come back

Lovely restaurant. We came here for Turkish brunch. The food was delicious. The table was a bit small so it was a bit tight. We had to pass the plates around. Very friendly service.

If you check my stats you'll see that I leave a lot of reviews and don't hand out 5 star reviews often. These are not words I use lightly when I say Mirazu presents a perfect dining experience. The menu seeks to introduce patrons with Turkish dishes Canadians are less familiar with from the grill spots that typically represent Turkish cuisine. They are masters of lamb here, ethnic criteria aside, this might be one of the best restaurants in Montreal to enjoy lamb dishes. My lamb shoulder dish had a heaping chunk of meat that made the price point well worth it. My friend and I also indulged on a trio of apps as well, between those and our main dishes we were completely stuffed until the next day. Our server was gentle and happy to talk about the restaurant's concept and Turkish culinary culture with us. Mirazu is an immaculate dining experience for both those who are affectionate of Turkish cuisine as I am as well as new explorers.

I came back a second time and ordered the baba ghanoush. I showed the waiter how it was a small portion for $14 plus tax plus tip. It came with unlimited bread but that’s not on the menu — I didn’t order bread (I’m not a big bread person). He started arguing in a rude way that compared to other restos in the area they are cheap. I said it doesn’t seem like it because there’s hardly any in the bowl but whatever that’s my feedback in the friendliest way possible given the tone he was using with me. He said the bowl is full in a condescending tone. I said it’s not and it’s fine but it’ll be my last time there. Then he offered to cancel the order, making my experience feel even more unpleasant. I said I didn’t want to waste the food and I don’t mind paying for it but I won’t be coming back. He said it doesn’t matter, ignoring my wishes. I said it does. He kept being rude and I said I’m a citizen of planet earth and I don’t want to waste the food, does that matter at all? He eventually was like “I’m not going to argue with you anymore” … good. You shouldn’t be arguing with me in the first place. The food tasted really good despite the small portion but it sucks even more that I have to spend my meal getting talked to this way and writing this instead of just enjoying the experience for whatever it offered. Teach your waiters social etiquette. I’m not usually the type to complain and it sucks when a restaurant isn’t trained to handle feedback with class and grace. I brought my family here before so I was actually a supporter before this. At least I had the chance to sit on the terrace so it was possible to chill out after. Edit: I spoke too soon and the waiter came up to me in a rude condescending tone to give me the bill and tell me they’re closing soon even though i was waiting a long time ready to pay. I told him I was ready to pay. He starts getting defensive “I was just telling you what I needed to tell you” so I asked him why he keeps talking to me that way and he should speak in a calm voice to customers. Then he says you’ve been the one arguing with me. I said no I was giving feedback. He starts arguing more and saying “oh and you’re doing so great in life”. I said I don’t think you should be a waiter, you should find another type of job. He said in a angry sarcastic tone “because you’re doing so well in life okayyy” . I said I don’t know how you have a job here, you should be in therapy. And he says right because you’re so well. Okay! And I said the way you’re acting right now I don’t know who raised you. And he starts telling me you’ve gone too far now, you don’t talk about my family that way. Okay so I’m trying to leave and pay and he’s still yelling and told me his name is Damier. I shouldn’t have paid tip but I did because I wasn’t thinking while he was abusing me and just wanted to leave. It’s really amazing how you let this guy work alongside customers.

I was looking for a good Turkish breakfast, and this place was such a great find! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.
We ordered the Turkish breakfast platter for two, and it was perfect. Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully served. The Turkish tea was amazing too, warm and so comforting.

Overall, it was a really nice experience. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others!
