We were waiting for them to open at 11 am, Diane saw us and let us in a little early even though we assured her we could wait. She was friendly and funny a served us really, really excellent food. The hot chicken sandwich and the Cajun chicken sandwich were both among the best we've had. great coleslaw too! Sad that it was a short stay in Montreal and we probably won't be back soon but thinking about Mister Steer might get us back faster. We haven't tried the beef yet!

Overpriced burgers, way too expensive for a small teen size burger without fries or a salad, overall disappointing, 🤔 i won't waste my time and money again

Found this restaurant by walking in downtown. One of the best burger and very friendly staffs. Make sure try their hot apple pie and ice cream

Not even close to what it used to be! Burger spices have changed. Fries are now a lot more oily and $4.95 for a small (12oz) fountain soda is seriously unacceptable! Adios Mr Steer!

Some very, expensive mediocre food. And the delivery of the food was very slow.

And afterwards the waiter was very disappointed by the tip.

We Got undercooked food, so slow service - both bevegers and food.

When we was done and wanted to pay, we did 0-5% tips - because it was bad, and then he brings his manager.

So really bad at all😒

Prices are a wee bit high, but this has been my regular pre-game meal anytime I go watch the Canadiens, and their burgers and Suzie-Q fries are A1 !

Our food was good. Salad was just lettuce and shredded carrot, was not offered a dressing. Our waitress, when asked of the onion rings were thin or thick cut, had no idea what I was asking. My husband had a burger and it was good, but more bun than meat. I just had curly fries, which were very good.

We were seated quickly. Service was great.
The food was nice, especially the burger meat. The fries were good and different from other places, but not seasoned or barely.
With construction work happening on the street, it s best to use public transit or go straight to an indoor parking if using car.

This place is consistently good. I hadn't been in decades but when I went yesterday, the food, the value and the service were every bit as good as when I ate there in my ywenties. 8 highly recommend Mister Steer whether alone, with friends or on vacation with your family.

I've been going to this resto for 40 years and the burgers are as good as ever! My first time having a poutine and it was enjoyable. Love this place, its my favorite burger place. Here's to another 40 years!
