Had an excellent dinner here. The pappardelle flat pasta was yummy with melt in your mouth lamb pieces. The Moretti fresh on tap tasted great! Highly recommended ?

The food here was excellent, top notch. Probably the best pizza I have had in ages. While the portions are small, they are quite filling. The American pizza with spicy honey and Barrata as well as the pistachio tartufo were out of this world. I was also impressed with the salmon tartare (I never eat seafood) and found it fresh. Service was excellent too.

The service and food is amazing. I don’t know about weekends but during weekdays it provides a nice calm atmosphere. Also from the tables I can tell it’s a clean place.

Bob's Italian restaurant the seafood risotto and pasta bolognese were good! Disappointed on the other hand by the dessert, the chocolate pistachio caneloni, did not taste the taste of pistachio....beautiful restaurant with a beautiful wine cellar

Nice place but unfortunately the meal did not live up to my expectations. The lychee martini cocktail, filet mignon and tiramisu were good. Nothing memorable about the charcuterie plate. The rigatoni dish was far from being a success, a total flop. Unpleasant in the mouth, the strong taste of the vodka took over all the space. This was mentioned to the waiter but the dish was not changed or deducted from the bill. He mentioned that he would send the message to the chief. Correct service, without heat or interest.
Too bad because I was looking forward to eating at this place, my expectations were definitely too high....
Back in 2017, I stumbled in to Ostrtia MKT, as a Toronto highschooler in the middle of possibly the worst snowstorm I’ve ever experienced. I was greeted warmly and was sat to enjoy a $25 warmhearted tasting menu. I still remember the taste of the risotto which would partly inspire me to pursue the culinary arts. However last year I went again in pursuit of the warmth and love I tasted all those years ago. I was let down as all the dishes tasted empty to me and lacked the passion I remembered. I still hold this restaurant in high regards though.
The food was fine, the atmosphere was cute and service was great. It was overpriced.

Lovely food and service. Can’t fault it there.
It was quiet but that wasn’t the atmosphere issue…
It was the persistent photoshoot/ influencers in the corner, wandering around and with a very bright light distracting from the meal.
I appreciate you need to bring these people in to market the business, but there was a whole section of the restaurant not in use… put them there and not disrupt the other guests or do it out of service…

I recently dined at Osteria mkt and loved every moment. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, with a menu full of delicious Italian classics. The freshly made pasta and rich sauces were standout dishes especially the Pizza and steak! The service was friendly and wonderful , and the wine selection was excellent. A must-visit for Italian food lovers!

My visit to Osteria MKT was an exceptional dining experience. Situated in a charming and welcoming setting, this restaurant offers a warm and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the elegant and contemporary decor of the restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly and the service impeccable. The staff was courteous, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer insightful recommendations.
To start, I chose the cream of carrot soup as a starter. This soup was deliciously velvety, with a creamy texture and a mild, comforting flavor. The fresh carrots and perfectly balanced spices really brought out the natural flavor of this vegetable, providing a light and flavorful starter.
For the main course, I opted for the burger. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, served in a soft bun and topped with melty cheese, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and ripe tomatoes. The accompanying homemade fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, complementing the dish perfectly.
Osteria MKT also offers an excellent selection of Italian wines that perfectly complement the meal. The sommelier was able to recommend wines that paired ideally with our dishes, adding an extra dimension to the dining experience.
The dessert didn't disappoint either. The tiramisu, an Italian classic, was light, flavorful and the perfect finish to a delicious meal.
In summary, Osteria MKT is a premier Italian restaurant offering delicious food, impeccable service and a pleasant ambiance. Whether you're an Italian food lover or just looking for a special place to dine, I highly recommend Osteria MKT. It’s a culinary experience that is sure to satisfy you and leave you with memorable gourmet memories.
