Awful. Really poor service, bad drinks, terrible food, extremely expensive. However, the music was good How in the world does this restaurant get good reviews for anything but jazz? The drinks were not served as requested, the salads were drenched with dressing, the chicken was hammered and dry in tasteless sauce and don't get me started about the fatty, overcooked lamb. It was so bad it was almost comical except that we spent $450.00 on a dinner for four. That wasn't funny.

We like coming here when in Montreal, but we were squished in so tightly our attentive waiter couldn't even reach our table, and conversations several tables over dominated. Food/drinks were good, not excellent.

It was a treat to have dinner and enjoy jazz last night. Sony, our server, was very attentive and helpful with wine suggestion. We tried the poutine...a Quebec classic. Our meals were the salmon and filet mignon...nicely plated and seasoned. Profiterole for dessert was so good and shareable. Loved the jazz trio during our meal...talented musicians. Bonus was noise level was not loud, allowing conversations and hearing the music. Highly recommended for everyone,

We enjoyed our dinner at Modavie. Our waiter was very helpful explaining the specials and answering our questions about the menu. The food was very good. We were there on a Sunday night and enjoyed the live music. If we lived in the area we would go back.

Right on the main Vieux Montreal strip and was expecting more touristy. Service was great, food was great and the atmosphere in the bistro was informal yet a bit upscale. Very pleased with both the Lamb Burger and Lamb Cavatelli.
