This was a completely enjoyable experience for my wife and I, charcuterie and cheese board was absolutely delicious and with a few cheeses I wouldn't get to experience at home. I had the rack of lamb and it was delicious, my wife had the mushroom risotto and also enjoyed it immensely. Great service Nina. Thank you

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend and was sat in the room where they had some live music playing. At first we wanted somewhere quieter but we'd have to wait longer.. and I'm glad we didn't. From the service to the atmosphere of the restaurant everything was absolutely perfect. The French onion soup was what initially caught my interest and was to die for. My boyfriend had the pesto gnocchi which was also really good and I'm personally not a big fan of pesto so that definitely says something! I will for sure be back and recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal!

The escargot and rack of lamb (medium rare) were prepared perfectly. Both were tender and seasoned perfectly. The demi-glace was especially tasty and enough included to swirl the sarladaise besides the lamb. The live music was nice and not too loud so we could still converse. Delightful evening.

It was a pleasant experience. It was a bit noisy due to the nice blues band playing. Service was good. Lamb Cops were good, they were more medium done than medium rare. My spouse had linguine with seafood. Best part of it was the scallops. My spouse loved them, he usually does not like them . Linguine was homemade . The sauce was decent, but we had better. Bread was hot and fresh.

If you're after a great dinner out with your partner this is the place. Intimate, with an incredible ambiance, Modavie is a jazz musicians haven! The band was awesome; just a 3-piece but with swing and pizazz! The food (we both had the rack of lamb) was done to perfection. The service (big thanks to Christian!) was top rating. The wine list was extensive with something for all tastes and budgets. Thanks Modavie for a night to remember in Montreal!
