I had an amazing time at this restaurant with my girlfriend. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back for sure. Highly recommend!

We had the caviar special from Siberia. 120 grams. Our waitress paired a bottle of champagne and offered us chilled shots of vodka complimentary. The steaks were cooked to perfection medium rare of course! The entire staff was very friendly to our children 6 and 9 years old. We will be back and highly recommend them for a romantic dinner alone or with the entire family.

Made reservations, waited 30 minutes to be seated, reason being there was missing plates. Then I asked for half of my steak to be wrapped up and brought home, my waiter said yes and then proceeded to throw it out and blamed it on the busboy who was actually working amazingly the whole night; it was clear that the waiter threw it out and not the busboy. The busboy I believe named “Rumen”, was incredible, great service by him. I was offered a free coffee in return. $40 in the garbage and terrible service. Very disappointed with a place like Moishes; an institutional place in Montreal known for their excellent hospitality and service. To be offered a free coffee when half of my $80 ribeye was thrown out is ridiculous.
45oz Austrailian Tomahawk was unreal, so good, Le Rocket cocktail is a great pairing, I could drink gallons of those.

We had a wonderful dinner at Moishes tonight. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and attentively, especially our hosts, Carolyn and Rumen, who were incredibly kind and hospitable. The food was simply exquisite, from the complimentary appetizers to the dessert. The steaks were cooked to perfection and so tender they melted in our mouths. To top it all off, Louis from the bar served us several rounds of the best Whiskey Sours we've had in ages! Seriously, tonight was perfect.

Many instances where food or service fell short, unfortunately.
I’ve been before, but yesterday, so many things were forgotten including that we reserved and mentioned it was a for birthday, drinks forgotten, food items were incorrect. It also took almost an hour for our food to come (not always a bad thing; good things take time, but maybe just something to take note on if you’ve not been before).I also noticed the staff talked more to the men in our party and consistently confused the women at the table’s orders, as if all just blended together.
The food tasted good (the cherry glazed short ribs were a hit), as mentioned previously though, some parts were incorrect.
I do want to mention, that this could have been an off day. We went last year, had an amazing time and loved our server (I believe his name was Andre; we constantly talk about how he’s one of the best we’ve ever had). We will probably come back, just was a bit of a miss this time around.
