Service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The Lamb was really very average unfortunately. It actually tasted more like a beef steak than lamb. Makes me wonder if they cook their lamp shanks in the same pans as their beef. The atmosphere was a little flat, didn't leave an impression good or bad.

You think you are dining with the elite...the ambiance, atmosphère, the setting is classy and luxurious yet comfortable. Service is impeccable. The food was better than any steakhouse in Montreal. The price reflects all of the above...easily 100$ + person for an enjoyable evening. Too rich for my blood to do it on a regular basis, but I'd return for a special event.

Yeah, I went to the new Moises. They say it’s like Moishes… but, uh… it’s not. The steak was perfect. Sauce too. Then I tried the Monte-Carlo potatoes—yeah, those were… not. Chairs were awful. Price was worse. Staff’s great, but it’s a soulless steakhouse. I asked for the Moishes classics. They don’t serve them anymore. So… yeah. It’s Moises. But it ain’t Moishes.

Our first visit and definitely not our last! Everything was excellent from the service (wait staff and sommelier), to the red wine and to the perfectly cooked porterhouse steak.

We really enjoyed our evening at Moishes, lovely place and great food and drinks. Would recommend the steaks (rib eye and filet with bone in) and entrées (octopus salad and wedge salad). Really enjoyed the complimentary pickles, coleslaw and bread. Would not get the millefeuille (similar to what you can get at a supermarket). Service was good and our waiter was courteous, however came across multiple occasions where a waiter would run into a customer or not let the customer pass by the aisle first, and I would have expected more care given the place and price.
This is a new review, in 2023 I had a bad experience and wrote a review accordingly. Went yesterday with a friend of mine who also had a bad experience a while ago. They really turned things around on every aspects, food was excellent, service also very good, the place was very busy too, it shows the really hired experienced staff. Chapeau for improving the service which as good with the best restaurants in Montreal.
