I ordered tteokbokki from here. Usually when I order tteokbokki from a Korean place, it comes in a nice, thick and spicy sauce that coats the rice cakes perfectly. What I received was basically a bowl of barely spicy broth with the rice cakes so overcooked some were falling apart. Hardly any flavour, and since it was so watery the rice cakes weren't coated in the nice sauce I was expecting.
Was excited to have a place nearby I can order tteokbokki from, but this wasn't enjoyable at all. I'm not sure if this was a fluke because the picture on Doordash and their online menu show the tteokbokki in more of a sauce than the watery dish I received. Really disappointed.

Food was ok, I think the owners are Vietnamese or the full staffs are viet. Nothing against it, but it’s just very dull; service was minimal, as I think language barrier was an issue.
Perhaps my review is a little rougher but after testing other bbq in Toronto mon ami are very basic in my humble opinion.
We were a table of 7 and they force a % on service when there was not much service per say, at this point I think it’s better off having an all you can eat food distribution like the all you can eat hotpot display.

Last time we came, we had terrible service from one of the waiters/bussers, who made it very clear that we were bothering him just by arriving around 8. (They say they close at 10, but the kitchen actually closes at 9:45, even though the restaurant stays open until 11.) The same thing happened again today, so we had to cancel our reservation. I recommend going somewhere else.
