Solicitous service, interesting wine selection, good looking room. Food wise, the salmon gravlax and beef tartare were hits while the veggie dish we tried was a slight letdown. Another Montreal wine bar worthy of a return visit.

The owner and staff were genuinely sociable and kind, the food was enough to transport me to distant memories and had me moaning in ecstasy, and the price was much more than fair! In my opinion, better than Olive & Gourmando without a doubt!!

To begin, we had reserved a table for four and ended up with a very uncomfortable and skinny high-top right by the entrance, sitting on tall stools with no opportunity to put our legs under the table because of a steel horizontal support right at knee height. For five minutes or a quick bite that would have been doable, but for an evening meal lasting about two hours, it was intolerable. On the other hand, the food was excellent. My wife had the gnocchi, and I had osso bucco with polenta (delicious!), and we also shared some roasted potatoes, which were quite good but too heavy on the butter. The restaurant was packed full and extremely loud, such that it was difficult to understand what was being said. This was due to all the conversations among the guests and greatly exacerbated by the overly loud music playing on the sound system, which resulted in the guests talking even louder in order to be partially heard over the din. For me, this was very disappointing. I will not return.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Restaurant was pretty busy and lively. Ordered the beef tartare and it was good! A tad salty. Would maybe try other dishes during lunch.

my new fav wine bar in montreal. great selection, amazing service, great vibes and reasonable prices. we went on a friday around 5 and it wasn’t too busy but still good energy. later in the night there will be a line / be very busy but it was a nice balance right after work. we got the olives, cheese and i think every red they had on the menu. next time im back in the city ill be coming here for sure.
