Montréal poutine offers top service and super good poutine. The atmosphere is really good, especially for outdoor dining. While some find it inappropriate to only offer bottled water, the friendly waitstaff and delicious local beer make up for it. The fried chicken poutine is a standout dish worth trying. The regular poutine is a gooey delicious mess when served with piping hot fries and gravy, though some find the fries cold at first. The smoke meat platter is nothing special, and the watered-down sangria feels like a tourist trap. Service is efficient, but tables are too small for four people, making it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy. Some servers wear outfits that seem more appropriate for the beach. Despite this, the food is excellent, and the sauce on the poutine is outstanding.
