Place frozen in time! Same decor reminiscent of hospital cafeterias. A long bulletin board of photos of well-known visitors and yellowed business cards. A shabby wall, but clean. A real setting of a hungry worker who doesn't care about the rest! As soon as I pass Chinatown on St-Laurent, the irresistible desire to stop there overcomes me. I need authentic poutine and a steamed hot dog. Their know-how is at another level and unmatched in Montreal. The veterans behind the counter are friendly and remarkably efficient. A few dollars are enough to satisfy me and continue my journey!

Nostalgia for my youthful years. Steamed hot dogs garnished with cabbage and onion mustard accompanied by homemade fries are always just as good. Too bad that only Montreal pool room remains. The golden corner and golden fries have unfortunately disappeared. Sniff.

One of the few remaining really authentic places left in Montreal. I like their steamies. I don't often like fries, but I like theirs. I love sitting in that one seat at the front window and watching the world go by on St Laurent. Cash only!

Such a bad experience It only accepts cash A customer who had no money on him to pay. ASKED his wife to find an ATM. After my order was served I realized that there was a counter just to the left of the cash register. Employees who speak almost no French. Carefree people who left the client's spouse looking for a pedantic quiches of the ford minutes.
