I hate leaving bad reviews but the quality of the sushi here really inspired me to do so. Basically every element of the sushi was bad - the rice was mushy and tasteless, the seaweed was stale and soggy, and the presentation was horrendous. The fish was ok at least, albeit a little stingy. I've had way better sushi at a grocery store, to be frank. Leaving 2 stars instead of 1 to spare this place a little dignity since I know it's very tough to run a restaurant in this damn city. Advice to the restaurant: your menu is too big, I'm sure your other cooked meals are good. Just cut out the sushi and please focus on what you're good at - you'll save money and clients alike!

I change my review because I order by the phone I spend more than $40 and they didn't even give me the $5 discount which when you go on the website, it says pick up or delivery. You get $5 if you spend more than 30. It doesn't say it only online. So for the reason I will not go back to this restaurant. I called and ask, why didn't you do it?" They say only on, online orders which just doesn't make sense for me

We tried out Montrose this evening and ordered the vege fried rice and general tao tofu... Let me tell you, and I am not kidding, it was the best tofu I've ever had in my life. I've been vegetarian for 26 years and I've tried ALL kinds of meat alternatives etc. I've taken a few hours to think about it and yes, this was the best I've had. The tofu looked and felt like biting into a Mr Puffs... with general tao sauce on it. My god. Amazing.
