I'm from Chilango and of all the "Mexican" food restaurants I've been to here in Montreal, this is the best of all, it's the one that comes closest to REAL, REAL Mexican food for my taste!!!! I even feel like I'm in my beautiful Mexico when I feel that taste of food in my mouth!!!!! 1000000% I recommend this restaurant, it is the best!!!!!!!!

The restaurant is excellent, and it’s no surprise it’s been open for more than 10 years. The service from the waiters is great, and the food is the best in Montreal. Though tipping might bother some people, while not mandatory, it’s part of what you pay for the service you receive. I’d like to see the same at other Quebecois restaurants, but unfortunately, since it’s a Mexican restaurant, people feel they have the right to criticize it. Personally, I’ve always had great experiences, and despite all the competition today, I’ll never stop going to Mr. Azteca. Congratulations to the entire staff!

The truth is the food is delicious, I can't believe that of all the Mexican restaurants I've been to I haven't tried a chicharrón del rojo like the one there, I've fallen in love with its seasoning, the truth is I openly recommend their entire menu.?

Very bad experience. We ask for a pitcher of beer and we are told that there is none. We are told that there is bottled beer and when we order 2 and we wanted another, one of the waitresses told us denied the beer, telling us it was for the table next to us! My boyfriend and I can’t believe what we had just been told! Our money is not worth less than that of other customers. In addition, we asked for salsa and were told that they had run out even though we saw that the arriving customers had some. It seems to me that if someone decides to open a restaurant you are supposed to have customer service. Unfortunately, the service here leaves a lot to be desired. Don't waste your money or your time. There are other good Mexican restaurants where the service meets your expectations. Definitely, I do not recommend this restaurant. Definitely avoid!

Super good food, fresh, generous and tasty! The cleanliness of the premises leaves a little to be desired; sticky menu. The service really wasn't up to par with their food; it's a shame, because we had questions about the very large menu; lots of poorly organized options, our waitress didn't seem to know them and answered us half-heartedly. Cold, slow and disinterested service! Too bad, next time we will order to bring!
