Simple, Delicious, and Affordable

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. No frills, no fancy branding — just really solid food at prices that are almost too good to be true.

For under $10, you get a full meal: rice or noodles, one veggie, and one meat. Want to double up? The large combo gives you two of each for just $13.90. Where else are you getting that kind of portion and variety for that price?

But the best part? It’s actually good, clean food. Tastes fresh, not heavy, not oily — just the kind of meal that fills you up and doesn’t weigh you down. You could eat here regularly and feel like you’re treating your body and your budget right.

No hype, no shortcuts — just quietly excellent food that respects your appetite and your wallet.

This place is ok. I can see it being a good place to have a bite before classes. Food is ok at best. The ratio of food is pretty disappointing (3/4 rice, 1/4 meat/veggies).

A bug was found near my fried rice, I'm not impressed with the food either

Good place to enjoy Chinese food. I like the waitress smile, she looks beautiful and good attitude to me. I and my classmate ate $15(13.9 before tax) food there.

Awlful experience. If you want to feel you are begging food, you can go. The female waitress is super mean. She put two cauliflower into the plate and says it is a portion. When I asked her why, she said you ordered a small portion. The whole portion is like half of what I got normally. The mean attitude makes me feel that I am begging food from her.

Poor Experience, Wouldn’t Recommend

Unfortunately, my experience at this Chinese restaurant was very disappointing. From the moment I received my dish, the presentation was unappealing and seemed carelessly prepared.

Pro:
1. It's probably the cleanest restaurant around Concordia
2. Super well located

Cons:
I miss the old Mr. Gao, something left this restaurant about 2 or 3 years ago. Nowadays, I will leave the restaurant hungry. Plus, the food is less tasty, and it is more than often cold... what happened ?
I see that you guys are trying to attract more people with new deals, new plates, etc. But what we customers really care about is good quantities and warm and tasty food! The original food selection and plates were just fine!

In addition, the more often I come, the less food I get on my plate... 你们就这么对待回头客吗?

I decided not to come back for a little while. I wish you guys the best of luck. The original Mr. Gao will forever have a special place in my heart.

I went few days a go at Atwater food court and had a very bad experience with chinese food I was so scared since then, but today I was in a hurry and the place was super clean, very bright, modern, the food look fresh made, not like it has been sirting there for a while. I ordered the fish with ride and broccoli, I was the only person there, when I finished my meal the place was almost full. For the price and quality it's the best option around.

Clay pot chicken rice noodles. Came boiling to my table I liked it a lot until I had a chicken bite, unfortunately I did not like the chicken flavour, had that raw-chicken-in-fridge-for-days aroma. Noodles and some veggies completed the abundant serving. I ordered the braised pork one some time ago and that one was perfect to my taste!

Ordered through the fantuan app which was a big mistake. Veggies were raw. Kung pao chicken all had bones and no meat whatsoever. I bit into bones each time. No refund because "merchant says there are no bones". Why would I be complaining about the order??? Because there were bones.

It's been a while since they changed the waitresses, and the new waitresses are perfect. They are so friendly and welcoming. I try to come back here every week. They are so generous with the portions. This noodle and beef combo was small and it cost near 11$ with tax, but it was more than enough for me. Are you interested in Chinese food? If you are near Concordia, don't miss this place!

Just editing: they recently reduced the portions!!!

The food is sometimes really good some other times stale. At least I would never recommend ordering any of their BBQ pork. Could taste meat cooked several days old. Be patient when ordering and take time to confirm at least 3 times what you're getting.

I recently visited this restaurant for a take-out lunch, given its convenient location near my workplace and easy access by bus. I opted for their combo meal, selecting Rice, Spicy Fish Fillet, and Tofu, along with a can of soda. The total came to $20.57, including tax. The food was excellent for the price, and the portions were quite generous.
