We were a group of 11 people, the restaurant was practically empty, they refused to allow us in, stating that they don't serve groups!! Bizarre business model considering the number of empty tables in the restaurant and the fact that a lot of restaurants are struggling to stay open!! Also, a rowdy group looking for grub the day after an all-night bender, we were 60+ year old's and our adult children. We went across the street to Pub St-Paul and were treated amazingly well, and the poutine there was very good!!

I've had poutine before and wasn't impressed!! Came here and they have converted me!!!! Not just with the food!! I was served by the most friendly, vibrant, sociable lady!! And she as great taste in music!! It's cheesier than the poutine ? thank you guys for a great evening and a lovely chat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FIVE STAR

First time trying poutine so nothing to compare it to, but to my taste it was excellent. Service was very good. Sparrows outside really like the cheese curds.

It’s located inside the Halte Gourmande, and it’s extremely confusing where to stand for which one of the three food stations you are waiting for. The fries are nice and thick. Generous squeaky cheese. The sauce is mediocre. Unfortunately the service is very very slow, the people working there are confused and don’t seem to care about your order. Prices are too expensive, especially when you add a soft drink ($4 extra).

Great food and service. If you like poutine this is a great place to try it. They have several different ways it is prepared. I especially liked the Italian version with spicy Bolanase sauce. Our issue was drinks were small and very watered down. Worth a try if you want an authentic Canadian dish.

We had the Smoked Meat and the Fried Chicken Poutine. Both were amazing! The portion was huge and the flavour was delicious. The fries were crispy and done to perfection. Service was quick and friendly. We also enjoyed an espresso martini (YUM) and the HIPL (delicious). Highly recommend.

At first we were a little worried close to closing time. Tables needed a little wipe when we first sat down but then it was a great experience. Amazing poutine as anticipated. Montreal style hot dog was great and all portions overall generous. Server was super nice very attentive and cool vibe upstairs.
The worst sauce was water. The employees look stupid.

The poutine, fries and hot dog were ok but they refused to provide us with tap water as they wanted us to buy bottled water. I find this totally unacceptable. Also they said they did not have high chairs which seems ridiculous for a family restaurant.

Treat yourself to some of the best poutine in Montreal. The servings are very large and excellent. We had poutine with smoked meat, which I would strongly recommend. The beer selection is solid. We did not try any other dishes except the poutine. We were able to eat outside in a lovely courtyard, and the service was solid.

First time in Montreal we were unable to give this place a try due to a long line. This time around we were fortunate enough to have arrived at a time with no line and now we understand why lines develop. We were a group of 5 and we all had different poutines. Everyone was beyond satisfied with their choice and I would have to say it was one of my favourite poutine meals I’ve ever experienced. Lots of options, staff was great, the restaurant has an upstairs dining area and a very nice looking court area where you can eat. Would definitely recommend anyone in the old Montreal area !
