Visited this adorable café during a trip to Montreal and absolutely loved it!
We went on a weekday and got a table right away. The food was delicious, the service was efficient and friendly, and the latte art was seriously impressive. A cozy little spot that’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
Adorable cafe with delicious savoury and sweet crepes. Excellent coffee. Cute decor.
Great vibe, nice servers, delicious food
Very good service! The coffees cute too!
Very nice food with good portions too. Good selection of vegetarian stuff.
We came here for breakfast as a group and had an absolutely horrible experience with one of the staff members. From the moment we sat down, he was wearing earphones, and made no effort to engage or provide decent service. He was visibly annoyed by our presence from the start.
At the end of the meal, we EACH paid around $65 for our food — so we were far from “cheap.” One of us tipped, and despite that, he loudly said, “I know you tipped, but your friends didn’t — that’s really cheap. But maybe being cheap is just part of your culture.” and this was an openly racist and disgusting comment.
Tipping is not an obligation — it’s a personal choice based on the quality of service. You don’t get to treat people terribly and then shame them for not tipping you extra on top of it. And again, we did tip, despite the poor service.
To make matters worse, he followed us outside, continued yelling, and said we should go to McDonald’s if we want to “act cheap.” We were respectful and paid full price — no one deserved that kind of treatment.
This experience was degrading, racist, and completely unprofessional. No customer should ever be treated like this, especially not after spending a significant amount of money. Avoid this place — there are far better restaurants where your presence and business will actually be respected.
EDIT (In response to Reply by Owner): All customer considering visiting this restaurant just take a look at the other 1 star reviews to see our experience isn’t a one-off, the owner has a history of being hostile, arrogant and disrespectful towards customers who call out his rude behaviour and for that reason don’t tip
The girl serving me on Saturday has a beautiful smile and very ghibliesque energy
The lattes are beautifully made. The food is a bit expensive and heavy, but the service and atmosphere are excellent.
so friendly and understanding of families with kids. And the food was awesome.
Cute latte art in the old port
Restaurantji Recommends
Super cute cafe and great latte art in Vieux Port. Loved the crepe and sandwiches. Had a great time here with Totoro everywhere!
sweet and cozy café, cutest little totoro lattes. It was cute to see totoro stuffies and stained glass paintings around. Definitely recommend for the vibes and for totoro love
It seems I should've ordered a latte!
Well, I went for food and it was honestly not something I'd return for.
However, the atmosphere was obviously adorable and it's a very nice place in old port for a cute date.
Cute and small cafe, not many seats available so there could be some wait time depending on the day. Food was ok, great staff very welcoming and cute latte art, that’s the gimmick of the place.
The latter art is amazing!!! I have not found a place in the US that has the artistic ability to create these adorable lattes. And the flavors… PERFECT!
