The Chilean empanadas are incredibly delicious. The pastry is perfectly chewy on the inside and a bit crispy on the outside. The filling is generous and ingredients are high quality. They taste just like in Chile. Polite and friendly service speaking French, English or Spanish, not sure what one of those reviews was about. Great little Boulangerie with tasty stuff. They also have a lot of Chilean products for sale. Worth a visit for sure.
I have been a customer since this business first opened under different ownership on 2275 Charland around 2000. I must say quality & service was better before ownership changed about 10 years ago.Quality generally good provided you buy fresh products. There are always older products available which are USUALLY packaged differently and with lower prices.Some products are unique in Montreal and have to be ordered in advance and are usually of excellent quality. The quality and service given to u here is always fantastic. Walking in here isnt only intoxicating but it's always great, Anna makes u feel right at home with a smile and a laugh. If there is 1 thing I could recommend place an order for a zuppa Inglese. You won't be sorry. Thank you Anna for your smiles and thank you to your husband for his skills as a baker/pastry chef.
