I've shopped at numerous fish markets in Montreal and this shops is head and shoulders above them all. The smoked salmon is to die for. Best I have ever eaten. And.... the salmon filets are fabulouls.
The staff are great; helpful, friendly, courteous. They could write the manual on Customer Service. I bless the day, I first went there and thank my brother in law for his glowing comments. Thank you New Victoria Fish. You have a customer for life.

I recently tried New Victoria Fish, and I can't praise their customer service enough – truly exceptional! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. As for their smoked salmon, it's hands down the best in Montreal. The rich, smoky flavor and perfect texture make it a must-try. Five stars without a doubt!

This is an old school place. The review about them being arrogant is unfair and out of context. Friendly but not obsequious customer service. But never mind that, the product is A1. They smoke their own fish (Icelandic salmon not Atlantic )if you like smoked salmon , THIS is the place. If i could give 10 stars I would ..Actually I should not review this place because it is a secret of sorts. I like to buy a batch as a gift .Bagel with capers, red onions, creme cheese, dab of Dijon mustard, and this Salmon! Epicurean Delight

Their smoked salmon is the VERY BEST in Montreal. Their store is a bit far away from where we live, but the trip there is well worth it! They also sell very fine, fresh other fish like cod, snapper and bar.
