Ma blonde est allé dans ce bar la semaine dernière et le service était exécrable. La serveuse a balancé la carte des cocktails sur la table quand ma blonde a demandé un mocktail. Ce genre de place pour les influenceurs/instagrameurs est à fuir. Tout est hors de prix et le personnel ne connaît rien au service à la clientèle, quel manque de respect!

One of my favourite lowkey bars in the old port. Super nice inside, great cocktails and awesome music.
We were visiting Montreal for the weekend and came to get a drink at the bar downstairs. While my friend ordered a drink at the bar I inquired about a table, which they gave us a few minutes later. As soon as I was seated the waitress told me that if I was going to order at the bar we could not sit at the table, to which I told her that we had already ordered prior to sitting and would order with her going forward.
From there the manager went up to my friend at the bar telling her to order at the table. She had already paid and came to sit and the waitress came up to us saying that we didn’t tip enough at the bar so they would be “discontinuing service for us.” Then, the bar tender came to check on why we had chosen to tip the amount that we did and said that we had tipped what was equivalent to “spitting in someone’s food.”
10 mins later they came to kick us out of the table while we were finishing our drinks.
Overall the experience was incredibly rude. My friend tipped a fair amount for 2 drinks and we were heckled by 3 people over it. Also, tips should be extra not expected and certainly not a reason to discontinue service when we were simply minding our own business and chatting within ourselves.
