Tucked away in a dimmed setting. Expect a mix of romantic and sensational experience with ur date. Service was impeccable. Drinks are on the stronger side (not complaining lol). Menu changes routinely so ask your server for recs. Would definitely recommend for an intimate date night or special occasion. BOOK EARLY.
Fantastic service! Very pleasant and wonderful food! Very intimate setting. Huge thanks to Ben for making the experience even more special!
Its unfortunate on the reservation there is a field asking if there is a special occasion, we did mention we were celebrating a wedding anniversary... but it was ignored. We sampled the full menu the food was excellent. I had a glass of wine which was removed when emptied. Could have had another but it wasnt offered. little disappointments. Room was loud, but service was good & the food was excellent.
Tout à fait le genre de service que j'aime: chaleureux, présent, attentif, professionnel. On a très bien bu et mangé.
We managed to get a table for 4 people last minute (1 hour before reservation time on a Tuesday).
Let start by saying that the female server we had was absolutely adorable and super knowledgeable about the menu. That’s about the only upside.
We arrived 5 minutes in advance and the table wasn’t ready until 30 minutes past our reservation time which was kind of annoying. We just stood there waiting for the table before us to leave.
The food is way too over priced for what it is. Basically the main course is simply not filling and not worth the price. Chickpeas, plain pasta and olive oil for $38 + tax is unreasonable. It’s not even a big enough portion for a main course.
Atmosphere was SO noisy.
I would honestly not recommend coming l here which is disappointing because we live just around the corner and we were looking forward to trying this place for a long time.

It was very cold in the restaurant. You would expect a restaurant of this quality to be able to accommodate
Below average experience.
The food was honestly not good. The spaghetti alla bottarga got no unami flavor, we couldn’t taste any fish toe but just strong acidity from the lemon, which was way too overpowering.
Beef cut was too chewy, pork was better but not standing out.
The appetizer of carppacio is very normal, mushroom underneath but not very well integrated in flavor. Sea bream cheek was meh-ok, standard olive oil with some balsamic.
The tuna sauce of potato is too bad, the fishy-ness all came out.
Dessert - the citrus mascarpone one has good composition, salt and olive oil on top are nice. But the signature tarte noire is just a dense chocolate cake, all of us have tasted some bitterness.
Only dish worth eating is the tagliatelle alla bolognese. Good in texture, taste and classic.
Service was bad, the waiter was not very patient. Gave our table the wrong order two times, once from the other table, then taking away and didn’t apologize. Then second forgot about the sauce on side note. I still tipped reasonably but now I kind of regret it for the below average food experience and service.
That’s all, would not recommend.

One of our favourite restaurants whenever we visit Montreal. Food is always amazing and inventive. We are already reserved for our next trip!!
Excellent restaurant. The portions were appropriate (aka not too big), food as inspired and inventive, and cost moderate. Wines by the glass were great.
Excellent restaurant! Que dire de la cuisine du chef? Extraordinaire. :-)

Best restaurant in the city
We had a family dinner for my mother's birthday. By far, one of the Best restaurant in Montréal ( and We have experienced many). Great choice of wines and the menu was sophisticated and exquisite. A must in Montréal. Where cozyness meets quality!
Food was decent but overpriced for the main meals. I had the pasta with foie gras and it just tasted like liver. My glass of wine was $24.
The service and the ambiance were actually very nice but we were seated by the window so it was very cold!

Great intimate restaurant in a Montreal neighborhood. We sat at the bar and had amazing conversations with our server / bartender. The cocktails and food were delicious and our server recommended an Amaro we had not tried before - outstanding. When in Montreal this restaurant is a must visit.
