Thank you for your great service and food
Food was awesome, service was fantastic!
They're a little pricey, but I keep going back because of the quality. Great service and nice atmosphere, food options are great and always well made.
Amazing breakfast probably one of the best I’ve had, decided to go the second day on my trip cause it was that good. Kinda shit myself when I realized it was a mannequin in the vestibule.
The brunches are really good!!!
Booked this restaurant having read positive reviews but was very disappointed.
The fries that came with the burger were over cooked and looked like they were the last scrapings from the frier.
Burger was ok but nothing which could be compared with other burgers on our journeys through the US.
Mac n cheese was dry and lacked flavour.
Overall worst food experience in Montreal to date and certainly not worthy of the high ratings afforded to it
gluten free burger, but the meat is dry and fries tasteless
Ordered a grilled cheese and they sent this and didn’t even bother to grill it. $20 bucks for this? Incompetent lazy staff and bad management
Order Uber Eats, 2 BG Classics and it felt like the patties were boiled even the sauce or pickles couldn’t help, I’d prefer taking McDo instead. Maybe was a one of? Not bussin.
The first time I visited Notre-Bœuf-de-Grâce, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away—I just wanted a burger. But what I got was quite possibly the best burger and best fries I’ve ever had in my life (and that’s only a “maybe” on the burger because there’s one other contender). I was genuinely shell-shocked.
After a cozy writing session at Café Aunja, I was walking back toward the hotel and decided to check this place out. The interior had a great vibe—cool art, writing all over the walls, and a very laid-back but modern energy. My girlfriend, who’s Greek and from Toronto, pointed out the Greek phrase above the bar, which listed drinking cheers in different languages—just one of many thoughtful, global touches throughout the place. The staff were incredibly friendly and bilingual, and they made the whole experience even better.
The burger was out of this world—juicy, flavorful, beautifully put together—and those fries? Absolutely unforgettable. A perfect balance between steak fries and shoestring, they were chunky, soft inside, lightly crispy on the outside, and seasoned to perfection.
My second visit came the next night—my girlfriend had to return to Toronto, but I was in town an extra day. I saw they served steak frites, so I went back, sat at the bar beneath the Greek writing in her honor, and treated myself to another incredible plate of fries (and yes, the steak was great too, but let’s be honest, I was there for those fries). I even enjoyed a well-made cocktail, soaking in the vibe one last time.
Now that I’m back in Vermont, I can’t stop thinking about that burger. And the fries? Still unmatched. Notre-Bœuf-de-Grâce has officially ruined other burgers and fries for me—in the best way possible.

5/5/5 go-to place for tasty burgers, amazing house beer at a reasonable price, very friendly and responsive service. Good for reunions and quick meals.
I’ve ordered a poutine form Uber eat 2 times, the first time was okay. The second time I was given fries that are burnt, beyond burnt. It was uneatable. I ate the curds and this is a picture of what I left behind for the trash. 18$ down the drain. And this happened on my birthday too. What a shame for a business to just dump subpar old - overfried fries to customers like this. How expensive is a potato really? For the cost of the poutine you should know better. Complete disappointment. Will not be buying ever again.
Edit: luckily Uber eats provided a full refund for this calamity.
One star against excess of salt in restaurant food + lacked water service at tables, that adds to the problem. And the burger's ground beef was undercooked.
It was my first time at this location and it was also my first time trying their brunch options. It was a perfect combination of breakfast, lunch, and dessert on one (big) plate. Nothing fancy but I loved the combo that diverged just enough from the typical brunch offerings in this city while being familiar. Service was also very good.
The menu is really interesting i love that they have a lot of options and the deserts (brownie) was divine!
