All plates are tapas size now, 2-3 plates/person, and the meat/fish dishes are extremely small . It’s ridiculous, and please do not use the term “gastronomic”. Its very simple dishes, BYOW place, but with high end restaurants prices. 4-5 years ago I remember going to that restaurant and having very decent quality/price dishes. I get the pandemic changed alot of things and everything is more expensive, Service was good.

Took my staff here for a post holiday staff dinner and it was amazing.
We ordered the chef's menu tasting as a group of 8 and everything was absolutely outstanding. The staff, who were just wonderful, were able to easily accommodate ourdietary restrictions and modify the few dishes that needed to be to accomodate us.
Every dish was just amazing, got to try a whole bunch of new things. Honestly such a great restaurant, perfect for date night or small groups looking to share a great expereince.

So I’ve reviewed a lot for maps and this meal had three absolutely extraordinary dishes. The potatoes, the leaks and the duck were absolutely exceptional. Strongly recommended. Some of the best food I’ve eaten. The strongest recommendation.

Went to O'Thym tonight at 1257 Atateken Montreal in the village before a concert. 2 of us started of with the broccoli dish one had the deconstructed pea soup, I friend had the fish, 1 had the lamb and I had the duck. There is a reason they are being considered for a michelan star the food and presentation are phenomenal. 1 friend finished with a deconstructed carrot cake I had the gingerbread cookie dessert which was the perfect way to end the night. It's also a BYOB.

My favorite restaurant in Montréal. I come every time I am in town. Entirely Quebec-sourced food. Creative menus that changes every season so there’s always something new and exciting. Visually appealing. Never over salted food. Nice and professional service. Fantastic value.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly/helpful waiter. We were advised to get one plate each from the three sections as plates were small. Turned out to be a bit much. Overall some very interesting and tasty dishes, but one or two were average, dragging it all down one star. We would def recommend Othym and would come back again.
