It's been a long time since we came to this excellent restaurant and we were delighted by the refined cuisine and the courtesy of the welcome and service. Scallops, lamb, duck, char leek tartlet, everything was excellent! And desserts too! See you soon!

Very sincerely one of the best restaurants in Montreal. I highly recommend any dish with mushrooms, which the chef seems to have mastered 100% ❤️

My partner and I come to this restaurant every single time we visit Montreal. The food has been amazing each and everytime we have visited and I'm so happy to see that continued consistency. O'thym changes it's menu seasonally and source local ingredients so you rarely have the same thing twice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is intimate and encourages quite conversation and allows you to also focus on the food and it's tastes and textures. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.

Wonderful evening. Impeccable service with regular plate changes. The server is pleasant and gives good advice. sharing dishes, most of which are very successful, including arctic char tartare, oyster mushrooms, leg of lamb, scallops. It is difficult to find a BYOB of this quality.

The presentation is beautiful and the service is good. However, the main attraction is the food. For a long time, O'Thym was my favorite restaurant in Montreal, but the quality had declined and I hadn't been back for about ten years. Since then, the concept has changed to a style of tapas to share. The server informed us that they had reduced the portions and the dishes were now for sharing. My reaction was that reduced portions, as well as being shareable, leave little to be desired, especially as prices have increased considerably!Indeed, there were three of us and this is what we ordered• Pan-fried scallops: three scallops accompanied by a few strands of fried parsnips. They were okay, but nothing special and no particular explosion of flavors for $28!• Gaetan's Venison with Jerusalem artichokes, kohlrabi and black garlic. There were a lot more vegetables than pieces of shredded venison in the dish for $29.• Squash ricotta gnudis: three small ravioli without dough that melt in your mouth, but were tasteless for $18.• Simon's King Oyster Mushrooms, with spicy cornmeal and lemongrass oil. Finally, the only delicate and tasty dish of the evening for my taste. We definitely weren't full, but decided to move straight to desserts as the place was quite loud. I chose the maple crème brûlée, a classic, which was good. The other desserts were ordinary.Stars awarded are for service and presentation.

We went to this restaurant for the first time last night and we left delighted. The service was very professional and warm. And the dishes wow it’s been a long time since we ate this well, the arctic char tartare was incredible. The flavors were very well balanced as were the sensations between crunchiness and freshness, with added Quebec products. We can't wait to come back!
