Hands down one of the biggest glow down for a burger place. They change the patty to a frozen one that you get for 99 cents that make you even question if there is any meat any it. Seriously guys how a burger place that charge more than 20$ for a trio can use such cheap product. Fries are absolut trash. I’m sorry I don’t usually rate so bad but this place is seriously scamming people.

Used to be reasonably priced on uber eats but they raised the prices so high now that it will end up costing you 40$ for a lousy burger/fries combo.. Ridiculous.

Yet another burger place that offers ridiculous "buy one, get one" offers on delivery apps. 33 bucks for a buy one, get one trio on Uber Eats- really you're paying 16.5 bucks for the same trio... twice. It makes you wonder why they need to resort to dishonesty and preying on people with stomachs bigger than their wallets, but a quick look at the reviews for this place tells you all you need to know- the food isn't good.

You guys changed, man, what in the heck happened over there? You're starting to taste the exact same way, that living in Lachine feels like- ingenuine, abysmal and cheap. My boyfriend just shelled out $51 REAL dollars for two burger meals on Uber eats (priced at over $30/plate on a 2 for 1 "deal" / scam), all while reassuring me- "dont worry about the price, these burgers are worth every penny" & disappointed doesn't even begin to describe our experience tonight. These burgers definitely, without any doubt, came frozen in a box. They're so OBVIOUSly & thoroughly processed, these sad excuses for "pure red meat patties" were SO BLAND, that I was very sure they had to be veggie burger patties, at first (I'm still not entirely convinced that they weren't). There is just no way on Earth I would ever qualify the "meat" in these sandwiches as 100% pure real, fresh beef. It looked more like a creamy paté inside, than ground meat, the patties were uniform and formed around the edges in a tell-tale mechanical fashion. I repeat: it is quite literally impossible, from my assessment, that these burger patties were legitimately hand-made from real fresh ground beef in the restaurant- these burgers were definitely made by a machine, and were delivered to the restaurant frozen. From what I hear, Obvious burger used to be quite an institution, and apparently, they once upon a time, took pride in their work. According to my boyfriend (who feels completely ripped off, by the way) this place used to really care about the presentation of their food, and from what I've been told, they even added a personal touch to each order, with thoughtful hand-written notes, and additional unadvertised freebies. It's really unfortunate to see that Obvious burger has (apparently) decided to pull a bait-and-switch, here, and has quietly but OBVIOUSly downgraded their offerings, to something far less authentic and much more cost-effective, after garnering such an endearing & carefully crafted reputation. I am not too sure why this place enjoys so many great reviews, apparently they're riding out their (now former) reputation for excellent food & customer care; either that, or- most of the reviews were made long ago, in glory days of yore. From the perspective of someone who had spent most of their life, born & raised in the small rural province of Nova Scotia, I can tell you one thing- you would never, ever convince very many of the clever farmers & rednecks where I come from, that these burgers weren't prepared by a machine & sealed in plastic prior to making it to their plates. If you tried to sell yourselves as a "real, handmade burger joint" in a place as tiny & close-knit as NS, you'd get laughed out of the food industry & go out of business within one month flat. All I can say to the owner, is- you should be completely ashamed of your menu's offerings, for the price point. You have a choice to make, here- either stop stealing people's hard-earned money with false advertising, and go back to giving people what they are being told they are paying for, or- change your menu's pictures and descriptions to clarify and accurately sell your shoddy 2nd-rate food for exactly what it is. For the record- comparatively speaking, I would sooner order a McDonald's Quarter Pounder than another Obvious burger, ever again. I honestly find McDonald's QP sandwiches to be a far more accurate & flavourful representation of a beef burger, than the garbage we had delivered earlier tonight. After this experience, I'm going to head over to Captain B & Notre Boeuf De Grace, to leave them both totally polar opposite reviews. Never again, will I take my trusty burger Captain for granted- if Cap'n B is open & I need a good burger, they will get my business. If you have the cash, it's 100% worth your while to shell out $5 more per plate, & head over to the kings of beef in NDG- Notre Boeuf de G

The price is outrageously expensive for the quality of their burgers. For a $15 burger, not even including fries or a drink, it was a huge disappointment. Frozen processed burger and and 2 little pickle slices when I paid $0.60 for EXTRA pickles on top of the ones it came with.

Extremely small portions for the price, 2 burger trios, a oignon ring and changed the small fries to a large, 71$$!!! With tip. Quality went horribly down too, shame on you

The burger is not good. The bread and meat look like they have been frozen for a while. I am giving a 2 star because the fries and sauce are decent, but the burger has no taste to it. There are much better places.

First time ordering and I won’t be again. Expensive for a pre frozen burger and mediocre fries. Wendys and a&w would have been cheaper and tastier.

SO FREAKING GOOD!!! We got the Supreme fries for two, The Crispy Burger and the Obvious Burger. The taste is just so good! They were really sweet and sent a card with our order and there was candy in the food boxes as a little surprise. Will definitely be eating from here again!

So I ordered a small fry and an obvious burger. They are generous with the fries and the nice seasoning they have on them. The burger as a whole was great, generous with toppings, really good bun but the meat was a bit tough. Home sauce that it came it was really good too. I’m not the biggest meat eater so I might see how their vege burger is next Time ?

***BEST BURGER IN MONTREAL!!***I gave a first try to Obvious! with uber eats and it’s definitely a winner.-Good quality homemade burgers.-The Obvious sauce is well balanced and has a unique twist.-The staff pays attention to customers with a thank you note in the bag and with an extra thank you gift.-It shows that the food and the service are done with care, quality and knowledge. The prices are fair and the food is excellent. So, give it a try like me, talk about it and encourage that local restaurant!!

Ordered here through DoorDash and it came relatively quickly. I ordered the Vegan Spicy Roxy, which was cold and soggy, and it didn’t taste great. I wouldn’t order it again. My bf ordered the pulled pork burger and found it tasted fine, but was disappointed to find no lettuce when it was supposed to be included.

Tried them for the first time, and it certainly won't be the last! Delicious, fresh, juicy burgers with nice dressings and good portions. Onion rings were crispy and tasty, and the Obvious Burger sauce was great! They even sent dessert for free with a couple of lollypops, nice touch! All packed neatly in a personalised bag. Can't wait to order from them again!
