This is definitely a place where they try hard to be good. And that’s kind of where it stops. Japanese food is a very specific kind of food and they are striving for economies and speed I think. And it suffers for those reasons.

We went because it’s close to our home and gave it a try. Sadly they’d need to up their game before I’d go back.

I think they’ve missed the experience part of the deal.

I ate there a few days ago, the food is very good and the prices are reasonable, but I have very bad memories of my visit. I don't think I'll go back! The waitress was nice but insistent, she kept asking me questions to see if everything was okay, and talked a lot, it didn't necessarily make me feel comfortable, I was interrupted many times while I was eating to answer him. But what shocked me was that when I wanted to pay, I tipped 8% simply because I'm a student, and I very rarely go to restaurants. She stuck her head into the payment terminal and said IT’S ALL !!?? , the tip is minimum 15% and now it's much more!!! I tell him that I'm a student and that I don't have any money, it's just a hobby that I have... I keep a very bitter taste of my visit, and once again I won't go back. .

J'ai mangé sur place il y a quelques jours, la cuisine est très bonne et les prix sont convenables, mais je garde un très mauvais souvenir de ma visite. Je ne pense pas y retourner ! La serveuse était gentille mais insistante, elle arrêtait pas de me poser des questions pour voir si tout aller bien, et parlait énormément, ca ne me rendait pas forcément a l'aise, j'ai été a de nombreuse fois interrompu alors que je mangeais pour lui répondre. Mais ce qui m'a choqué c'est qu'en voulant payer, j'ai mis 8% de pourboire tout simplement parce ce que je suis étudiante, et que je vais très rarement dans des restaux. Elle a plongé sa tête dans le terminal de payement et m'a dit C'EST TOUUUUT !!?? , le pourboire c'est minimum 15% et maintenant c'est bien plus !!! Je lui réponds que je suis étudiante et que je n'ai pas d'argent, c'est juste un kif que je me fais.. Je garde un gout très amère de ma visite, et encore une fois je n'y retournerai pas.

Sushi was not fresh. I've had better from the grocery store.

After seeing the website list "soy sauce" for $3, I called before ordering to find out if that was for extra soy sauce or any soy sauce. They assured me it was for extra soy sauce, and that a regular amount of soy sauce would be included. Zero soy sauce was actually included.

The website said delivery would take 30-40 minutes. It did not arrive for over 2 hours.

Such a long wait for such a disappointment :(

BEST MTL SUSHI EVER! each sushi had so much fish it in, they felt so heavy. The Spicy tuna roll was the best, very flavourful and filling. Amazing service!! Thank you to the wonderful Ping, she made the experience lovely!?
