Limited seating!
But i loved my experience here. Very clean, timely and the onigiri are superb! Totally worth it, my favourite so far is the kimchi avocado one (vegan)! Definitely will come here again.
The fusion one with beef was a favourite as well.

Have been told by the owner of Onigiri Old Montreal to try their friend store since its closer to my house. And to my surprise service was quick and food was delicious. Probably the best grab and go restaurant in the area. Highly recommend to try their Japanese egg yolk and Fresh Salmon

The store plays extremely loud music, you can't hear anything the staff says without yelling. Sounds more like a club than a restaurant. Food is alright

They use really good inari tofu and put a lot of it in the onigiri (same for salmon and their onigiri in general). It was better portioning of the tofu than in Japan! They don’t use too much rice, just enough to wrap big chunks of whatever you choose (fish, beef, chicken, tofu). Very tasty and cheap price for what you get, it’s really worth it.

Service was great
Rice under seasoned
salmon was lacking in quantity
The crab was very tasty!
I would come back to try again
Love it, but whenever I’m looking at the menu on their tv screen it switches between English and French too rapidly.
You have 2 screens. One should should be in English and the other in French. No switching needed every 5 seconds.
Everything else is great! It’s fun to look at the things people wrote and drew on the post-it notes :3
Suggestion : put some lemon slices in your water dispenser.
Great price & quality!

It’s a really good place for fresh tasty onigiri, my favourite is the avocado 🥑 one, since I’m vegetarian. The staff is real warm and kind 🙏

This small spot is so lowkey! The food came out so fast, and the server was very polite and kind. They recommended I try the salmon luxe, which was delicious!

Discovered this place by chance while looking for a quick lunch while my dad is in the Jewish Hospital. Was shocked at how good everything was. My son “inhaled” the unagi onigiri in less than a minute and had to buy him another one. Service was quick and efficient. Everything was delicious. The price is very fair for the size of the onigiri and each was well filled with the ingredients. Expect to get at least 2 per person. We were there around 1:30pm, so probably after the lunch rush.
Would definitely go back the next time I’m in the area.

Biggest and most filling onigiri I've ever had in Québec!! I ordered 2 onigiris (salmon, abd ebi tempure) thinking they'll be mostly rice but I was wrong - there was a LOT of salmon, and ebi 👌🥳 - perfect post-wprkout meal imho! The staff were very gracious despite being tired, and I appreciate their professionalism 🎊 10 out 10 - highly recommend !!

Went there on a Monday for lunch (take out). Place was not full, max 12 persons for take out. Two staffs working, but service was slow. The guy at the cash was overwhelmed with all the orders, which was not so busy for a Monday's lunch. Service was slow, food barely have taste. Salmon was fresh, but could have a little bit more seasoning. Ordered two summer set, which was 2 onigiri and a drink. Had the matcha yuzu and it tasted disgusting. Guy didn't even give our order to the girl who made the onigiri, didn't even apologize or anything. He was just overwhelmed with the busy hours, but the other girl was a champ. At least one of them was professional and handle things better.
