Weird place. Onigiri was truly bad: soggy/stale seaweed that wasn’t crispy as it should be; overcooked unseasoned rice; tasteless fillings that didn’t taste fresh; rice to filling ratio was off, way too much rice. Onigiri fell apart as I ate it. It’s a simple dish that has to be done right - properly cooked rice, not soggy seaweed, etc. Vibe inside was not good, they were blasting Drake music for some reason. An employee was sick and coughing everywhere. Not recommended.

Is a nice lunch spot for A quick bite, very affordable and tasty portions, very generous. The staff were polite but seemed easily flustered. Overall recommend 😊🍙

I ate here once and the rice was horrid - mealy and dry. If you screw that up it really doesn't matter what other ingredients you use. I love onigiri but this is just a trend-hopping chain with no passion.

I took the salmon one and the miso beef one, to my sad surprise inside the salmon one there was only salmon with spiced mayo, it just simply misses flavors, the rice was smooth and the nori was crunchy (wich is just perfect), some green onions and some sesame inside would have been just the little kick it needed, same for the beef one,
the staff was really friendly and cool, really good service

My first time in this chain. The staff was courteous and service was great.
I ordered the crispy chicken onigiri.
It had a good size. Taste was good, a bit spicy. Rice and nori had good taste and texture. However, concerning the crispy chicken, batter was not crunchy, the meat was a bit hard and there weren't much meat.
It had too much rice, in my opinion. So overall, it felt dry in my mouth. Fortunately, there was lemon water (and plain) to help quench my thirst.
Hopefully, the other flavours are more balanced in texture and ingredients.

Excellent 👌🏼
Awesome and cozy place. Employees very nice and food amazing. I like the Mont Fuji and the fresh salmon. Food is fresh.Quality is not compromised even though the price is only $4.99. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a fresh spicy Tuna from Onigiri Shop at a café earlier this year, and it was delicious.
In comparison, the onigiri at this location was a disaster. Perhaps at this particular hour, the staff were inexperienced, but what they served was borderline inedible.
I ordered the spicy salmon and was recommended the Ebi Tempura. Setting aside the presentation, which was a quickly wrapped ball of rice that didn't match the takeaway images, the taste, in my opinion is the most important, and it was lacking. The onigiri also fell apart while I was trying to eat it, which made the experience frustrating.
The spicy salmon filling itself was good, however, it was wrapped in the equivalent of three portions of rice. I had to remove the excess rice to make the meal enjoyable.
The Ebi Tempura was essentially a greasy mayo rice ball, with the same excessive amount of rice, and its presentation was also disappointing.
As I could have made two more onigiri with the leftover rice on my plate, I believe new workers would benefit from using an onigiri mold or something similar to learn the correct rice-to-filling ratio.
Overall, a thoroughly disappointing experience, and I'm unsure if I will return anytime soon.

The edamame are deep fried... You should write it on the DoorDash menu, because they usually come steamed and people who expect that (like myself) will be disappointed when they receive them.

The staff are warm and energetic, the ratio of quality food to cost cannot be beat, and I wish I could eat this every day! If I ever win the lottery, I will. Would recommend to everyone!
