I've liked Orange Cafe in the past but my last experience was disappointing.
I was charged extra for a change I made to my order (I actually had fewer ingredients than the item I ordered) and was not told about the charge until I saw it on my bill. I also did not receive the full order I was promised in the first place. Unfortunately I only realized I was missing items after I left. I called to talk to them about that the next day that I felt I was overcharged but no one called me back which sent me the message that they really don't care about their customers. Such a shame because I really like that place but would never go back.

I ordered crepes and they were very thick and rubbery. They were supposed to come with fruit, but arrived without it and I had to ask for the fruit. The menu said that it would come with maple syrup, but what I got was artificial vanilla flavoured sugar-water syrup. I would not go here again.

We had 11 of us here on Sunday, on a very busy Mothers Day morning. Food and service were both excellent! Really appreciated that they could sit us together. Will definitely be back!

I think this place is no longer what it used to be. I had eggs Benedict as I often do. The eggs come cooked almost hard and cold. I’m aware of how hollandaise sauce works so I understand you can’t keep reheating it. Personally I believe that it should be applied to piping hot food and served right away. The grated Gruyère cheese was not melted and the bread was soggy. I think not only under and overcooked at the same time but that it probably sat at the pass for a while. The potatoes have lost all their charm and two tiny sad pieces of fruit. In the recent past I have noticed a major decline in food quality while seeing prices go up. The service today could be described as slow and uninterested. It was not overly busy either. It’s not the first time either that I wasn’t happy with the food. I was in a few months ago and had a similar experience with my eggs benny although the potatoes were still good at that time. Sad to see this place on the decline

My smoked meat sandwich was lacking smoked meat. Took a while to get the bill too.

Best breakfast I had in a very long time! So good I thought about it for the rest of the day.

Orange Café truly shines with its delectable dishes, offering generous portions of freshly prepared breakfast favorites that consistently impress. The service is attentive and efficient, even on busy weekends, ensuring a welcoming experience for all patrons. The cozy ambiance provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal amidst the bustling charm of Montreal's Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood.

Today I went to the Orange Cafe On Decarie with my two friends. It happened to be the Day of Trump‘s inauguration. The waitress had us right underneath the TV screen. We all ordered breakfast dishes. I had the Mexican omelet my friend had the waffles, and my other friend had avacado toast. My omelet was delicious. It included a soup. Both my friends enjoyed their food as well. The dishes included unlimited coffee. This was my fourth time at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly and the service was good. It has a nice ambience. It’s a well known establishment on the west side. The portions are generous as well. I would recommend this place.

This was my second visit to Orange Cafe. The first time was on a weekend and the place was buzzing and the breakfast was solid. This morning was far from the first experience. Our breakfast arrived barely warm with the exception of the potatoes. The butter was still on the cold toast. Unfortunately, the waitress barely passed by considering it was not very busy for a Monday at 10am. So we did not get a chance to inform her of the situation. She came to fill up our coffee by the time we were more than halfway done eating. What a disappointment!

I loved the grilled cheese smoked sandwich-- Was not dry, not with the mushrooms inside and the melted cheese. Portioning is always the first thing that catches my eye--and it was kinda upsetting. U guys make the call 👀🤔🧐. And my sister liked the pancakes a lot.

We met a friend here on our way through Montreal. It was almost empty when we arrived an hour early, and even as it quickly filled staff were patient with our occupation of a booth. I had an excellent ham and cheese crepe, I must admit, it is hard to beat PQ for crepes and maple syrup. Our guest admitted one of his favourite things about the restaurant was the availability of a charger for his electric car as he ate. While I normally do not like screens, I will admit, it was nice to have something to watch as we waited.
