It’s a shame, you announce on Instagram two pairs of eclipse glasses per day to give away all week, three times I am the first customer to arrive at the opening and I am told “ah! They are already gone! ". Big scam. Sad to do this when we know they are out of stock everywhere.

Very good experience in this Manga Lounge. Their selection of books and articles of all kinds is varied and I was able to buy what I wanted there. We took 1 hour of reading in the lounge which has a wide choice of volumes. Small bonus: unlimited tea for any reading time option.

I came for the first time on April 3, 2024 with my friend and I received the best welcome of my life.I'm a big fan of manga so I wanted to try the place and I'm hugely surprised by the perfection of the concept. Bookstore section to buy but also a library side with very comfortable places to read for hours. Their collection is surprising! They have manga that I couldn't find (ex:Liar's Game). On top of that they offer good food. I tried the onigiris and loved it. Everything is perfect about this place, the prices are very reasonable and we feel at home. Thank you very much, we’ll see you again very soon.

Superb concept, a place where you can read on site, do workshops, learn Japanese. I would like him to open other stores in Laval, St Jérome...Small irritant sometimes we have manga 1 then 3, 2 is missing in the reading area.

Staff are incredibly rude. I am disabled and require a cane to get around. I was having difficulty after having to climb their stairs to enter and mentioned to my wife I was going to sit in the lounge while my son bought his books. The woman behind the counter heard me and informed me that the lounge area was for “paying customers only” and that I could not sit down.

I'm really happy that they came with manga in English

I liked the nice place to eat and read my manga there. The only thing I would say is that the reading area is a little dirty-worn.

Superb selection of manga! The drawing classes are really great, my daughter loves it. She has a large manga collection.I'm giving 4 stars because I took my nephews to buy books and we asked for advice and the cashier seemed completely bored, didn't bother to offer manga and ultimately I didn't buy anything from them.

I love the place! Very large selection of manga, English, French and Japanese. :) I recommend! Always pleasant, in addition to accessories, promo and drawing lessons.

hello

the experience was not what i was expecting considering how much hype i heard beforehand. it was kinda just a manga store that also sold bootleg merch. the onigiri were tiny and overpriced, and our bubble coffees were roomtemp with coffee jelly instead of bubbles like we were expecting. maybe nice to go to check it off your bucket list but i dont plan on returning next time I'm in cosplay again. not a horrible experience just very mid and underwhelming. staff were friendly enough though, no hate to them.

Great for the large selection of manga. The reading corner is well thought out, but quite dirty/worn. We will return there to read, but certainly not to eat. The onigris had 1 cm2 of filling in them and the ramen looked like it came out of a bag of instant noodles. The welcome was uneven: one employee was super nice and the other.... not so much.

Really a beautiful place, great products for any self-respecting Manga lover and a super pleasant and attentive staff, luckily they are present in Montreal!Downside on the state of the reading room, the cushions are brown from wear and the 1000 hands that have touched them with the smell that goes with it.. same thing for the carpets and sofas.. say that I was careful not to touch anything directly with my skin... a quick spin in the washer from time to time wouldn't hurt them

Very underwhelming. Doesn’t give a vibe of a lounge where you can enjoy coffee and read manga. Didn’t know who was the staff, where to order or where to go read. I didn’t notice the reading section until I walked around (still confused of the whole place).I like the idea of it but I feel like it’s not well executed.

They did have a great selection of manga however there were many downsides:-we ordered two hot chocolates that ended being almost cold and tasted like milk. Definitely not worth the price of almost 6$ each. ( Also was served in paper cups maybe having actual mugs would give for a nicer presentation and more sustainable?)-the place itself has potential but feels dirty especially the floors- the service felt a bit rude and took a long time just to make 2 drinks especially considering the fact that there weren't many clients.Improving these things would definitely boost the service as this has great potential. Best for the future, however I probably wont return.
