Good little coffee shop inside metro entrance building.

The best croissant in Montreal! Typical French cafe with a lovely ambience and delicious desserts + pastries.

Made me rediscover what muffins are supposed to taste like. I had become accustomed to a bland life of Costco muffins. That time is over.

First time in Montreal and was worried after reading the reviews here. But the owner was very sweet and so were the other workers. He recommended pastries for us and was also very patient with us since we didn’t know what to get. The staff also spoke to us in English since we don’t understand French. In terms of pastries, they were absolutely amazing. We got the napoleon, eclairs and macarons. All 3 were amazing, definitely recommend. We also got the salami sandwich which was great. All in all I recommend this place!

I was hesitant to enter this pastry shop given the Google reviews regarding the general welcome and the high prices.

Finally, passing by the corner, I said to myself: "I'm going to go into the store to see for myself. Maybe among French people, we will recognize and understand each other." I did well, the reception was reasonably good. The boss so much criticized in the reviews was pleasant by coming to greet us (without forcing himself) while his employee served us.

The prices on the grocery side are high but those of the pastries are those of the market. Most items had a price tag.
There is a tea room on site for those who want.

The Baba au rhum was absolutely perfect, light, voluptuous, well balanced and the Paris-Brest was well executed.

The store is in its juice. Think 70s-80s decor in France, a little tired...

Location in the metro, but at rue Berri level, so really practical if you take the metro and don't want to go outside in the cold.

I think I had a chocolatine from the day before... although I have already been here several times and so far I had liked it but this time the chocolatine that I had was dry and hard to eat

The bread is not bad, nor the best in Montreal. But the attitude of the staff is deplorable. Bad attitudes. I will never return or recommend it.

I think it's a shame to be followed during my shopping and also asked if I'm finished while I'm looking at the salads...
I asked if it was closing soon, because I felt like I had to do this quickly, but it wasn't the case...I finally decided to go elsewhere when I saw this, I think it's
I understand that you have to be robbed, but you have to do it with a certain delicacy and subtlety...

There is a big variety of sweet and savoury, i didn' t like the price tag free policy they have, because i want to know how much every item costs instead of asking every time, or just buy something and be surprised whrn billing.
The lady wasn't friendly.
The pastries were yummy as well as the croissant.
I recommand.

Cute store but I didn't like the products. I think it's all frozen (tested bread and pastries). Really avoid mille-feuille

I bought some cracked pepper table crackers to enjoy with a small chick pea salad I prepared at home, and I found the owner sitting across from me telling me I could not enjoy these things, together only the pepper crackers and I was unallowed to eat my salad. I found him unfriendly, staring me down and did not provide me an explanation as to why. As for food, the cracked pepper crackers had a nice pepper flavor, but are a bit dry and thin. I didn't feel welcomed here and I won't be back. As for dietary restrictions, you could make something work if you're vegan, but be aware of the sour kraut they sell which contains pork.
