The food wasn't that good, but the service was good.
We tasted the squid a la plancha 🦑 (but it was poorly cooked) and chicken with chorizo
Maybe a second occasion will be better, maybe we were unlucky but we didn't have a good experience food wise.

They sell good tasting risottos, not paellas by any means. Just the plate is a paella plate with Indian butter chicken cubes. Latin music, zero Spanish flare. Kind of a trap for a place called PAELLA. Excellent service though and tasty rissoto/Indian dish.

Both me and my colleague just ordered the Valencia Paella for $35 and it’s absolutely disgusting. It tastes like frozen mush. I’ve had paella so many times and this is so far from real paella. Very disappointing for them to advertise as a restaurant that “specializes” in it. The chicken is completely unseasoned. Calamari was rubber. McDonald’s would have been more satisfying.

Very bad recipe, the rice is overcooked, poorly seasoned. I have the impression that the rice was cooked in plain water because it lacked so much taste, I'm not even going to talk about the snow-white chicken breasts. It was really the worst paella of my life, I thought I was getting a real paella because the price is quite high. I may have had the wrong evening because I don't understand why the overall rating is so high

We tried La Paella on St. Catharines, and it was the worst paella we’ve ever had.
We got water, then drinks, and finally the food, but we couldn’t get the server’s attention to bring cutlery and napkins, so we had to go inside twice to get them ourselves. No one checked on us to see how the food was either.
The paella was bland with no seasoning, and the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. The mojito was terrible—rotten lime slices and a mint stem with half the leaves pinched off. (See photos)
It was just weird. I really don’t understand the good reviews—wouldn’t recommend it.

Their paella is good and flavorful. The dish is for 2 persons but it is not very big if you have a large appetite. Also if it can be a bit hotter will be nicer.
The sauage/ham platter is nice too especially their 15 months aged ham.
Their salmon is a disappointment. Very dry.
Don't order their chicken wings. Maybe we got a bad batch. They were dry as hell as if they were microwaved multiple times.
French fries are so ordinary they are like those you can buy from super C and it costs $7.99 (I know this is a paella resto and I should not order American fast food but I have picky kids).
I still give them 4 stars because their signature item has its supposed quality.
