Was amazing until we were belittled for not tipping “more”

This restaurant has no sense of hospitality and they have no problem extorting money from you if it suits their purely monetary desires. We made a reservation for F1 weekend as we have done many times in the past for different restaurants in Montreal. Yes, some of restaurants have different menus for F1 weekend (such a prix fixed menu) but that information is available ahead of time when making the reservation, or as the event gets closer. In spite of what their snooty host said (think of Emily Blunt's character in Devil Wears Prada), none of them have ever called me within a month of the event and demanded that I let them put $300 per person on my credit card (for a party of 6 that is pushing $2000) right now or they will cancel the reservation. Which they did and it is fine with me. If I am giving them that much money ahead of time, what impetus is there to serve a nice meal? There are many lovely food and service oriented restaurants in Montreal and we will take our business to now and in the future.

What an elegant, modern & beautiful restaurant in griffin town. ✨ the 24k rolls were so tasty. The cocktails were great ! Will come back!

We went to Palma on Saturday for my party.
We had more than $5,000 in bills and were told that we had to leave at around 11:45 a.m. - midnight because someone important was coming. It's not like we were aware that we had to leave our table at that time (late). We are shocked and will never come back to this place again, nor will my friends. To be told that we have to leave our table for an important person is pitiful service after spending so much money it is completely a lack of respect on your part! This is not the First time I've heard that too! This already happened to one of my friends too!

Pathetic service when we came for a friend's birthday (7+ people the tips are directly applied to the bill) so I think the waitress didn't break her head, slow, not a smile and great embittered. The sushi was okay, the sashimi bland, but so much the better that the salmon and parmesan & truffle fries saved the day. We will definitely not come back as a group!

We dined here for a friend’s birthday and it was top notch from the food ( appetizers ) to the Service (Shout out to our waitress Patricia) and the atmosphere (feel like the name should be The PLACE TO BE) which was a combo of restaurant and a lil bit of club vibe. We had a great time indeed. Our waitress was really meticulous about us- can’t recommend this place enough
Plus the seafood tower and the tomahawk steak were unbelievable. Thank you PALMA* for an amazing evening. ?

What a vibe! Great spot for delicious food and a fun yet sophisticated dinner. We hosted a dinner party there and the team took amazing care of us the whole night. You have to go!
Service was very good, very nice ambience, clientèle is classy Best oysters I've ever had! Prices vary, streaks are up there, had the 35oz porterhouse $165.00. Classe Azul on the rocks $60.00 But if you stick to a regular cocktail they are around $20.00 which is reasonable. Was a nice evening out with friends and would definetly do back
